The News

I will start with my usual prices chart freshly generated from Coingecko data. $HIVE is holding up fairly well in uncertain times. $SPS is up a bit this week as I understand you need it to buy the forthcoming @splinterlands cards. I may keep holding mine for now.

The big news in the UK is the death of our Queen who had reigned for seventy years. I am no monarchist, but it feels like the end of something. She was an old lady and could not live forever (regardless of the conspiracy theories). A lot of people feel attached to her. Now we have a king for the first time in my life.

Meanwhile there was a story on Yahoo about 'Facebook killers'. It mentioned Hive, but said it was created by Justin Sun. Well it was in that his actions in taking over St--m caused Hive to be created. The community bombarded the authors with comments and the article has been updated. It is still light on details of what makes Hive so great, but we need the publicity anyway.

The @hivefest app has been released. It shows the schedule of events. It may be a little smaller than previous events as the cost and travel restrictions may prevent some people from coming to Amsterdam. It looks like there will just be one presentation at a time when there have been several before. It will still be fun.

Friday Follows

@hivefest is less than a week away, so I am just going to feature some of the people who I know are going. The social side is a big part of it for me and I will be seeing many old friends again as well as meeting others for the first time.
