The Marvels

Yesterday, I wanted to watch a movie, and I found on Streamio that they had uploaded "The Marvels," the latest MCU movie.

The movie is part of the Multiverse saga, but in every aspect, it lacks any real connection to the Multiverse saga except acknowledging that a multiverse exists. Is it an entertaining movie? I would say yes; it's an okay movie. Would I watch it if I had anything else to watch? No. Despite watching it yesterday, it's really hard to remember many things, showing that it wasn't an impactful movie for an average viewer.

What about the characters? I really like the dynamics and chemistry that Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, and Monica had with each other. Whenever they were together on screen, it added an extra layer of interest to the movie. The way they switched places with their powers was a cool and inventive way to showcase their abilities, adding a little variety to the story.

I also liked how Nick Fury played a somewhat comic character in the movie, and, of course, Kamala's family provided exactly the kind of humor a superhero movie needs to be funny.

Now, the villain was not a real villain for the caliber of such a movie. It was not truly that powerful and not that intriguing to watch as a story and backstory.

Overall, the movie really lacked depth, and the pacing of the movie was truly horrible.

Let's hope that Marvel can turn around the stagnation we are watching in their movie and also start finding actors that can make the characters interesting and we the viewers will want to watch more and more of what they have to offer us.
