Covid in China made a higher high

Christmas has passed we are now waiting for the new year to come and it seems that 2023 will still be a year that Covid-19 will be here and probably with new strains and a hell lot more infections. As you all have heard China has stopped using the zero Covid policy they have and they will let their people to get infected in order to create immunity among the population. The decision came after many many protests against the lockdown and I thing the main reason that stopped it is because of the impact the lockdowns have in the Chinese economy and their economic miracle. I am sure everyone have read some articles about their bank problems etc.
yesterday I read articles that they are estimating 250.000.000 of the Chinese population were infected in the last 20 days . The number is astonishing in the next 20 days they will reach 1 billion infections? ?? That numbers make it the largest Covid outbreak to date. The odd thing to a that the announced deaths for this month was 8 people against 250.000.000 infections? Accurate news 😂
Emergency rooms and hospitals are being overwhelmed with sick people and the funeral companies are starting to see business booming . And among all these problems medicines are ending and the Chinese people are buying lemons , oranges and other traditional medicines. From what I can gather the impact of that outbreak will have epic consequences to the whole world. China will probably keep the medicine and the machinery to make them for themselves that will create shortages in all over the world with new global health crisi, and the second will be the economic consequences from closed factories. We are probably headed in new increases in prices.

I have also heard the same news as you, that Covid is again increasing in china on a rapid speed, which is alarming, we can't afford it now, Inflation has increased heavily and it will be hard for people to bear more increased prices of daily use things.

Chinese New Years takes place in January. I understand that the event increases travel in China and abroad; so their might be a wave of COVID in January.

The Zero COVID19 policy proved to be a failure. Locking down communities for COVID proved ineffective.

However, I think that there is some value in tightening boarders during outbreaks as international boarders are established control points.

That's very bad news for over all the world. Two days ago, I was listening to the news that the government of China was saying that we start lock down, but people there were saying that our economy were damaged due to lockdown. If Chinese government starts lock down and the inflation rate increase day by day.

the 250M thing of china is only crazy shit. It remembers me covid start.

" Nov 2019: City in china lock down, Wuhan". I mean that was pretty suspicious at this time, because why?

It never happen before.

I would not wonder if we see lockdown shit again in 2023 around the world. This with high rates, good bye :D
