Can You Make A living By Creating Content On Hive?

Lately I've been talking to friends only about web 3, social media, trading etc. I promote Hive and content creation because it's easier and less risky than starting to trade if you have no knowledge about cryptocurrencies and technical analysis. The question on everyone's mind is: can I make a living creating content on Hive and other platforms? Well, I keep thinking it and the answer complicated, but it's a yes.

But why is it complicated? Because it's not as simple as creating an account ,saving the keys start posting and then making 50+ $ per post , but because it takes time, effort and commitment to be successful. If you want to create content, you have to continuously create high-quality content that engages the communities and engage with your followers to gain more upvoters.

For me there are 3 basic things that someone has to do in order to achieve more upvotes on hive

Consistently creating content that is engaging, informative, and valuable to the hive community . This will help build a following and increase the chances of earning more rewards from curators . Of course a valuable post has not the same value to everyone , someone that is looking to see Photos will probably find a post on @liketu or the #photographylovers community more valuable the a post on @leofinance about finance but when you decide to post something on any community about any topic then try to do it the best it can be.

Participating in communities, Hive has a variety of tribes that are focused on specific topics or interests. Finding tribes that align with the content being created is a good way to earn more upvotes by the people participating on those communities and curating them.

This one is the most time consuming and hard to achieve but if achieved can help you earn some recurring curations and upvotes and why not some friends. Networking with other users on Hive can help increase your account's visibility, gain new followers this will be achieved by Joining groups like telegram or discord and participate in events to meet other users and build relationships with them.

Aside of those three engaging in others people post's ,answering posts on your comments , using relevant tags and of course while you learn your ways through hive you will find a lot more ways to earn more.

For the ones wanting

In summary it's a yes but it's not easily accomplished it requires years of hard work , dedication and faith in Hive.

Thanks for the tips. I think Hive is an awesome opportunity because not only you own your content, but you also have to maintain an extraordinary level of quality in order to grow. It forces you to promote yourself, get to know people, and build a community in order to succeed. And that's the real value of Hive.
Greetings from 🇨🇺

Few months ago my friend joined hive. I delegated him 50 HP for a start. So he already had easier start than me. But he only lasted about a month. Also he was not creating content/ buying hive and relied only on curation. I been here for a 5 years (with some breaks). Also I invested 245(?) euros. Only now when I am consistent and post daily I am seeing some real growth. I will not be able to live of hive any time soon. But in another 5 or 10 years it might be possible.

Yes every passing year is getting harder but also the rewards become more precious. I do believe more incentives are needed for beginners.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Hive content creation and earning. I was also considering the possibility of doing it. I agree that consistently producing high-quality and engaging content is essential for building a following and earning curator rewards. I think that participating in communities and networking are key requirements to earn a living on Hive.

It'll definitely take some time but is possible. I've found that engaging is one of the best ways to grow one's following and posting in the right communities or using the right tags can give more visibility to one's post and potentially more rewards. I think if one treats it like a business, the chances of making a living on Hive is much higher.

Yes it's really hard and it will get harder but it's doable if you are consistent and active

Yes, and since it will be harder, I think it's good to also put in some smart work.

Yes at todays prices it's better to stack more Hive power. But it also depends on the cost of living in your country. You in Greece would be living quite well.

I'd say networking is probably the no.1 ace you should have in your pocket when trying to properly monetizing your blog.

I've been living mostly from my Hive rewards for something like 3 years, but I live a frugal lifestyle...

Making a living from Hive means you will have to go through shitty bear markets like the one we just had and you also won't be able to build yourself a decent HIVE stake(maybe next bear market).

It depends a lot on where you are living when considering to become a full time blogger on Hive.

Yeap networking and good relations can give you more rewards in a medium quality post than a top quality from a not a well connected one .

Yes cost of living definitely counts. In Greece making 600-800$ a month it’s an ok income there a lot of people making less.

Bear markets are always better to stack more hive!

And of course existing hive power counts you have more visibility and more people will vote you to try and get your vote in return.

And that’s why it’s not an easy answer but it is a yes because it’s doable

Being able to live on Hive sounds amazing. There’s so many people on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter that need to be moved over so they can put money from their content in their pockets rather than Zuckerberg and whoever. Once Hive is big enough maybe celebrity-endorsements or a SuperBowl commercial—just as long as it’s better than the slideshow crypto-ads they did the last couple years haha. The only one I remember is the fancy CGI one with Matt Damon for … crypto.com or something.
