10 days of changes, but luckily the bees are coming. - [ENG-ITA]

Good evening dear friends of Hive, here I am again. I intentionally waited 10 days since my last post, and now I'll explain why...

During these 10 days, a lot has changed. Firstly, I have finished my rehabilitation and my arm is now at about 70%, I can do all my daily activities without any problems, but I still can't lift heavy weights with my right hand, as I start to feel pain and it gives out beyond 15/20 kg. However, we will gradually train it and it will become better than before. Of course, the end of my rehabilitation coincided with my return to work, which I definitely didn't want to do since it's their fault that I ended up in that condition. So the first thing I did was quit.

Buona sera cari amici di Hive, eccomi nuovamente presente, ho volutamente lascio passare 10 giorni dalla mia ultima pubblicazione e ora vi spiego il perchè...

In questi 10 giorni, c'è stato molto cambiamento, a partire dal fatto che ho terminato la mia riabilitazione e ora il mio braccio è tornato circa al 70%, posso fare tutte le cose quotidiane senza nessun problema, ma non riesco ancora sollevare grossi pesi con la mano destra, perchè oltre i 15/20 kg, inizio a sentire male e mi cede, ma pian piano lo alleneremo e tornerà meglio di prima. Ovviamente, la fine del percorso riabilitativo coincide con il dove tornare a lavorare, dove non volevo sicuramente tornare, dato che è colpa loro se mi sono ritrovato in quelle condizioni, per cui la prima cosa che ho fatto è stato licenziarmi.

Since I have to pay rent, I had to look for a new job. I waited until the end of my sick leave, as it didn't make sense to go for interviews and then have to say "I'm on leave, you have to wait until April". So I updated my CV and went to some agencies, and next week I'll start with a few interviews. I'm not in a hurry to take the first job that comes along, but I have to start by the end of May at the latest. But I'm not worried, there are more job offers for crappy jobs like the one I had before than there are applicants, so worst case scenario, I'll find something quickly to fill the gap.

Thirdly, in these days it's not just me and Giovanna in the house, we're also hosting her mother, who had to leave Sardinia to come to the mainland for some appointments.

To add to all of this, some final renovation work on the apartment has been completed in these days, windows and various touch-ups, which have finally put an end to this hassle!

Dovendo pagare l'affitto, ho dovuto mettermi alla ricerca di un nuovo lavoro, dove ho aspettato di terminare tutto il periodo di malattia, perchè non aveva senso fare colloqui per poi dover dire “sono in mutua, dovete aspettare fino ad Aprile”. Per cui ho sistemato curriculum e sono andato dalle agenzie, la settimana prossima inizierò con qualche colloquio, non ho fretta di prendere il primo che arriva, però dovrò iniziare entro massimo fine Maggio. Ma non mi preoccupo, tanto di lavori del cazzo come quello che facevo prima ci sono più offerte di lavoro che domanda, per cui mal che vada, si trova subito qualcosa per tappare il buco.

Terza cosa, in questi giorni non siamo più solo io e Giovanna in casa, stiamo ospitando anche sua madre, che per fare delle visite è dovuta lasciare la sua Sardegna e venire in Continente, come dicono loro.

Per contornare il tutto, in questi giorni sono stati anche fatti tutti gli ultimi lavori di ristrutturazione dell'appartamento, infissi e ritocchi vari, che finalmente hanno finito anche con questa rottura!

All of this combined with my daily commitments and many other small things have taken up most of my time. Although to tell the truth, I don't take long to write and publish a good post anymore, I've become very fast at it and it only takes me a little over an hour. I could have found almost every day to dedicate to daily publishing, but I purposely avoided it... and do you know why?

Because I didn't have time for curation and reading and commenting on others' posts, which is fundamental for me on Hive! Just publishing to maintain a continuous entry and increase my HP wasn't good enough for me. I only publish when I can reciprocate the support of my followers. So please forgive me if I'm still a little absent in the coming days, but until I find a new daily stability and can organize all the right timing, I won't be able to be constantly present. But I hope and will do my best to make it happen as soon as possible.

Tutto questo messo assieme a tutti gli impegni quotidiani e tante altre piccole cose, mi ha portato via la maggior parte del tempo utile. Anche se a dire la verità, per scrivere e pubblicare un buon post ci metto poco, ormai sono diventato molto veloce e mi basta poco più di un'oretta, dove volendo, avrei trovato quasi tutti i giorni uno spazio da dedicare alla pubblicazione giornaliera, ma ho voluto evitare di proposito... E sapete perchè?

Perchè non avevo poi il tempo per la curation e leggere e commentare gli altri, che per me è fondamentale in Hive! Aver comunque pubblicato, solo per mantenere un'entrata continua e aumentare il mio HP, non mi andava bene, pubblico soltanto quando posso poi ricambiare il supporto di presenza con tutti gli amici che mi seguono. Per cui perdonatemi se nei prossimi giorni sarò ancora un po' assente, ma finchè non trovo una nuova stabilità quotidiana e riesco ad organizzare tutti i tempi giusti, non riuscirò essere costantemente presente. Ma spero e farò in modo che arrivi il più presto possibile.

In the meantime, I have also devoted some time to the orchard I own in my parents' land, because even our beloved plants need care. I just hope it rains some more, because they need to drink abundantly in the coming weeks, so we can hope for a great fruit harvest, which from today's flowering looks promising if the weather is kind to us mere mortals.

Nel frattempo, mi sono anche dedicato un po' al frutteto che posseggo nei terreni dei miei genitori, perchè anche le nostre amate piante hanno bisogno di cura. Spero solo che piova ancora, perchè hanno molto bisogno di bere abbondantemente nelle prossime settimane, così potremo sperare in un ottimo raccolto di frutti, che dalla fioritura odierna sembrerebbe ben promettere se il meteo sarà clemente con noi comuni mortali.

Fortunately, I've started to see a good movement of bees and wasps, although it's clearly lower than in past years, and it's evident that these animals, which are very useful to humans and the entire ecosystem, are becoming increasingly scarce. This concerns me a lot. I try to do my part to help these plant-friendly insects by not using any type of insecticide or chemical treatment on plants. I will only spray a mixture of white vinegar and cinnamon, which helps prevent and treat fungi and mold without harming bees and wasps.

Per fortuna ho iniziato a vedere un buon movimento di api e vespe, anche se è nettamente inferiore agli anni passati e si nota chiaramente che questi animali che sono molto utili all'uomo e all'intero ecosistema sono sempre più scarsi di numero e la cosa mi preoccupa parecchi. Io cerco di fare il mio per aiutare questi insetti amici delle piante, non utilizzando alcun tipo di insetticida o trattamento chimico per le piante, andrò solo a spruzzare un po' di aceto bianco misto cannella, che aiuta a prevenire e curare i funghi e le muffe, senza recare nessun danno a api e vespe.
