The sun rose this morning

A number of residents in Maros district, South Sulawesi have quite unique activities this month of Ramadan. After sahur, they visited the beach pier to wait for the sunrise.

During the fasting month, a number of residents, especially young people in Maros Regency in coastal areas flock to the pier after holding morning prayers.

They are willing to be at the Sabang pier, Bontoa District, Maros Regency just to wait for the sunrise which looks golden sparkling. This pier is also a favorite location for residents to see the beauty of the sunrise. According to them, in this place, the sunrise can be seen without any obstructions. Apart from that, in this place, it feels cool plus the sound of sea waves adds to the comfort.

This place is a destination visited by many visitors. Every morning it's always busy. It's been like this for years. My friends and I came here to enjoy the cool air at the Sabanga pier.
