Why Relationship-Building is Crucial for Success

Most people believe that pursuing money is the key to building wealth, but there are other factors that are just as important. Building relationships, having integrity, having good communication skills, and building leadership skills are all crucial for success. But of all these factors, building relationships is perhaps the most important.
Good relationships can help you raise money and eliminate the lack of it from your life. These relationships can also shape your future, influence your mentality, and guide you towards your goals and success. However, the type of people you form relationships with can also have a negative impact.
It's important to remember that we need other people to achieve our goals. While our actions and decisions play a role in our future, the relationships we make also determine how far we go in life. Neglecting people can deprive us of valuable information and opportunities, while surrounding ourselves with the wrong people can expose us to harmful information and experiences.
This concept was brought to my attention through an event that occurred at my friend's place. A schoolmate came to visit and told my friend about a recent exam result. This schoolmate was an intelligent and bright student, but unfortunately, she failed a course due to her own fault. She said she didn't know the exam date because she hadn't made friends in her department and therefore didn't receive the information. She failed to build relationships with the people around her who could have kept her updated.
My friend told me that this schoolmate often thought of herself as better than her peers and didn't feel the need to connect with them. But this situation showed her the importance of building relationships and valuing the people in her life.
In conclusion, building and maintaining strong relationships is crucial for success. These connections can provide valuable information, support, and opportunities, and help us achieve our goals and reach our full potential. It's important to invest in our relationships and be mindful of the people we surround ourselves with.

The importance of good relationships cannot be overemphasized, I've been in a lot of situations where because of the good relationships I've made saved me, in fact is countless.
I remember a time when someone helped me just because he sees how I relate with other people, till tomorrow I'm still surprised although he had other things in mind but then it stopped when I told him I was not interested π€.
Thank you for this reminder once again, have a great day sir π₯°
Wait. When you told you him you were not interested? Like he was interested in you?
Lol, yes
Hmmmmβ¦.
You are making me laugh Sha, what is it sir? π€£
Wow, I can't agree less with your points my dear. I am a living testimony, of course, you know I am an extrovert π...I connect with people easily but, I am always mindful of the friends I surround myself with. I have gotten yummy info from good relationships, one piece of info from people like this can turn things around for us. I am happy with the kind of people in my circle honestly...even today, I got wonderful info from a friend via WhatsApp...so that lady should break out from every web that entangles her and build a relationship now for her own good...lolz...imagine missing that exam, what a heck π
This post was really helpful cause,I for one I don't like interacting with people I'd rather be in my own little circle, but I guess stepping out of my comfort zone once in awhile won't hurt so much. And I now see the use of building strong relationships.
Talking about building relationships, the Hive community Iβm sure is a perfect example that rings a bell when it comes to how relationships are formed simply by engagements. No man is an island on his own !!
Yup. As much as I hate to admit it, having good relationships with people is really important.
I'm someone who's not a big fan of socialization aka an introvert, but even I get pretty happy when I talk to friends. Plus I've also been saved in different scenarios because of them.
I guess going past the comfort zone of reaching out to new people does pay off (I'm still not very good at that tho π )
