If anyone told me that I would make it to hive to share a post this night, I normally would have argued with the person as I had one of the most busy day of my life and I would share it as fast as I can before the day ends. My reason, I have made a goal at the beginning of this year that I would try my best to write a post each day. So here is a little story of my day.

The day started with going to school so that I can take a passport photograph, then see my supervisor to give him a New Year present thereafter, going to the ITF office to sign my logbook but things went out of line. I left home after working on my IT report to see a friend at the bus stop so we can both see the supervisor together then I take my passport photograph.

But on meeting the supervisor this morning, he used us to do some work at his office. I really spend my whole morning till evening assisting my supervisor who is also the HOD of my department. I never taught I would spend my whole day like this. I could not visit the ITF office or do any of the plans I had made early in the morning.

When I got home, it was already 6pm which an incomplete report, not done presentation slides and also with a hungry human being. I had not eaten anything, but luckily a friend visited and brough food for me to eat. I was too tired to do anything so I had to rest a little before I had the strength to work on my report.

As I stood up to start doing the necessary work of the day, it was this moment that NEPA, which is the organisation in charge of electricity in Nigeria held power. It was so annoying so I had to wait a little while maybe they would bring the light and I can begin work but after waiting for almost an hour, I had to put on my generator.

With my generator I was able to work for some hours, finish up with my report, make my slides. But as I was about to submit, I start seeing some report of my friends which prompted me to start making some changes to mine. I spent hours again on this activity and this time it was frustrating.

I was meant to give a friend my report to print for me before 8 pm but it was still after 9 pm before I was done with my report. Before it got to my time for my friend to print, he told me that the ink of his printing machine had finished. This means that I would have to wake up very early in the morning tomorrow to look for where to print my report and get to the hall for my presentation before 8am tomorrow morning.

Another challenge I am facing now is that, my generator is out of fuel and I have not yet ironed the dress I would be wearing for defense tomorrow morning. I am a little disoriented at the moment.

I spent the last few hours of the day with a friend who knows a lot of the project I did doing my IT. This friend of mine is not in my department which means he is not having his presentation tomorrow. So I had to beg him to explain each and every project as I am presently in state of confusion and don't think I can recall anything again.

He explain all four projects which I wrote about in my report and slides in a voice recording so that when I am less busy and calm I can just listen to it and get myself prepared before the presentation tomorrow by 8am.

I have not had time to check messages on discord or whatsapp. So please if you have messaged me and I have not replied you, I hope you would understand now. This is all I can say now, as I would give update tomorrow!
