HIVE RECAP 2022 - Finding Balance and Growth in the Hive Community
As I look back on my journey in 2022, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. It wasn't an easy year - I faced my fair share of challenges and struggles, particularly with my health. But I persevered and overcame them, and now I stand here, stronger and wiser than before.
When I saw my total claim of 6,000 HP, I was honestly shocked. I didn't actively participate in powering up Hive, but I did make sure to keep some of my posts at 100% power up, which contributed to my high HP Claim. I also preferred to split some posts at 50% author or power up the entire reward on the post. It was a subtle approach, but it paid off in the end.
While I didn't reach my end-of-year goal due to powerdowns I had to make to cover hospital bills, I'm still proud of my progress. I'm not one to rush or put too much pressure on myself, so I took my time and balanced my online and real-life commitments. I made sure to prioritize all aspects of my life according to their importance, and my addiction to Hive didn't get in the way of that.
As a music video content creator on Hive, I took a break in 2022 due to issues with my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Without it, I couldn't create guitar music covers, which was a bit of a setback. But I didn't let it get me down - I tried to get it installed on my computer again, and although I wasn't successful, I'm still hopeful for the future.
I joined Hive Learners in January of last year, and it quickly became my favourite community due to the support they provided for my project. I'm also a moderator there, which has been a rewarding experience. While I may not be a finance expert, I try to make content for the Leofinance community as well. And with Loving Hive, I have a platform to express my gratitude and affection for Hive.
GOALS FOR THE NEW YEAR
Right now, my goals are bent on increasing my stake on Hive and also my personal growth real life. 18k HP was my end of the year goal for 2022 but I was unable to achieve the goal.
Since it is a new year, my goals would be to make 18k Hive Power by the first Quarter of the year. With an End of the year goal of 24k Hive Power.
This year, I would be partaking actively on Hive Power Up Days to help boost my Hive growth.

Congratulations on your hive achievements despite your busy schedule. You have been a great source of help to many people on hive, most especially me, thanks for all you do.
I have always wondered why I haven't seen any videos on strings from you, because even form your username, I can feel your love for strings, but now I know why. I hope you will be able to install DAW, I would love to see what you do with the guitar.

Your thumbnail really caught my attention....I have to put more interest in learning the use of Canva.
Even without powering up, and the power down you did to attend to your health, you still achieved a mega growth my dear.

Thanks for this post, it gives noobs like me a flavour of hive. Would you be so kind as to explain the following paragraph in more detail, either here or as a new post. It means nothing to me at the moment but I'm trying to understand life in hive...
You did really well last year and I'm very sure you will do every better this year. That health issue really affected a lot of things but then we are grateful that it is over now.
Powering up every month is a good way to achieve your goals, all the best 🥰.
