ATTENDED A WEDDING CEREMONY IN LAGOS
Talking about wedding ceremonies, I am not the type that usually goes out to ceremonies and it has some reasons for that. Most times when you go out to these ceremonies, if you don't have a close connection to the people who are holding these ceremonies, you would not be treated well. More like having the feeling that the sole purpose of attending the ceremony is for the food alone.
But this time, I added a wedding ceremony. It has been a long while since I attended a wedding ceremony and that was since the time my elder sister had her own wedding which was about 5 years ago. My sister's wedding gave me the type of feel I would love to have in a ceremony because I am a close connection to her, so do I have access to eat as much as I wanted to. I don't eat a lot but when I eat, I eat massively.
The wedding attended recently was a wedding of a friend, not so close now but we used to be close. So there, we have the connection. I hesitated in attending the wedding because the connection isn't as close as I wanted it but since we were friends, I felt my presence would be worth something little to him. I wasn't in the same state as the venue of the wedding, so I had to travel down to Lagos GRA to attend the wedding.
In fact, I didn't attend this wedding alone, I attended the wedding with my family. He is close to my family, and so did I not know only his dad but his newly wedded wife 4 years before their wedding. in the picture below, you can find a picture of me with the groom's dad.
Don't mind the umbrella in my hand, it was the wedding gift my friend's dad gave to my family. My family gave gifts to his family in cash prizes since we didn't know what best fit to get for their wedding.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to take a picture with my friend because I didn't wait till the end of the wedding before leaving nor did I even get to the wedding earlier. I was not around for the engagement and introduction but only made it for the reception.
One of the reasons why I didn't stay long is because my house is quite far and also, traffic is a major issue in Lagos state. With how early I left the wedding, I got home by 11 pm that day. It was quite a stressful journey.
Talking about the reception, the images above were the pictures I took while I was at the reception. The picture above this picture grid is a picture of me with my elder brother. We sat down together while the whole event went on. Since we arrived late at the reception, all the tables were filled and there wasn't any table left to sit down with, so I sat without a table and was served without a table. My fault right!
Jollof and fried rice are the regular meal served on most of these occasions. I remembered I was going to make a blog about this so I had to take a picture regardless that I have eaten out of it already. The meat was so chewy, and it got to the point I got tired. My mouth was paining me.
These are pretty much everything that occurred in during the wedding. To close up this post, I would drop down some pictures below for future reference.

Hola @starstrings01, me encantó tu post.
the outfit was made for friends of the family who are wedding. So all of us that is close to the family that is wedding decided to wear the same outfit.
oh I understand you. In this case, the friends are in charge of making their own suits or the boyfriends are in charge of providing the clothes?
