We are travelling to Olbia, Sardinia tomorrow
Hi, friends!
WRC Rally Sardinia 2023 will be our 2nd World Rally Championship event of the season and 4th of this year because we did two small rallies with our training cars earlier in the year (one with Suzuki Baleno 4wd and one with Renault Megane 1.6).
WRC events are just something different from anything we know from our national rally championship and I see this as our big chance because you can't get this kind of opportunity every day.
Thr thing is that we can't do much with the slowest class in the field. WRC1 cars have 550bhp, WRC2 around 300bhp, WRC3 around 250-260bhp, WRC4 cars have 220-240bhp and our RC5 class Renault Clio Rally5 has 180bhp.
I think that the main thing for us is zo finish 320km long rally and that hundreds of thousands of people see the Hive sign on the car. Hardest thing for me would be to have some stupid mistake.
OK, roads are very rough, gravel surface. I am fired up for a drive but we must be clever and finish the race.
PLEASE wish us luck!!! :)
