Tanak leads WRC Rally Sweden 2023 after two days of competition
Hi, friends!
There's been some change in the lead of WRC Rally Sweden 2023 after Hyundai 's Craig Breen lost a lead after really impressive drive yesterday and today.
In rallying it is all about a mental strength and it seems that 2019 World Rally champion Ott Tanak is much tougher on that department. He just peeped of from that place Mr Breen and that way proved that Ford Puma Rally1 car has a big potential for a wins which is something that semi-works team M-Sport Ford eants to see. Just to remind you that difference between Tanak and Breen is just 8.6s which is not much but it will be hard to catch Estonian Tanak who has lot of WRC wins behind him while Breen still doesn't have a single WRC win on his name.
Hyundai 's number one driver Thierry Neuville had a blistering pace today and now he is just 23.7s from the lead. It will be hard to catch the guys in front and the only way for this is if Tanak and Breen would have some problems on the last three special stages.
Current World Rally champion Kalle Rovanpera is in the 4th place, just 3.8s behind Neuville. It will be a big fight between these two guys and third place is still wide open.
Welshman Elfyn Evans is in distant 5th place almost a minute of the pace so he can only wait to see if the guys in front will have some problems.
Tomorrow is the last day of the rally and we will have a nice fight until the last meter. Let the best win - as always...
