Rovanpera jr won WRC Rally Poland 2024

Current World Rally champion Kalle Rovanpera (Toyota) is really unbelievable talent. He came on the rally on Wednesday when all the crews already did the recce, and after his team mate Seb Ogier had an accident at the recce and could not continue with it.

Yeah, Ogier hadto withdraw from the rally and that's the reason why youngster Rovanpera was called as replacement. In the end, with any testing and recce in day and half, he won the super fast rally of Poland.

His team mate Elfyn Evans finished 2nd overall while M-Sport Ford's Adrien Fourmaux scored another podium with 3rd place overall.

Hyundai's best placed driver was Thierry Neuville while his team mate and leader from day one Andreas Mikkelsen finished only 6th after puncture on Sunday.

Driver of the rally was for sure young Martinš Sesks who finished 5th overall in non-hybrid Ford Puma Rally1 car.
