Rovanpera jr won WRC Rally Latvia 2024

Hi, friends!

Double WRC champion Kalle Rovanpera (Toyota) showed this weekend (and the event before) why he won two World Rally Championship titles in the row. First he came for the Rally Poland as a substitute for Seb Ogier who had an accident on the recce and Rovanpera won it in style.

Now he did the same at Latvia. OK, these kind of roads suit him very good because his native Finnish roads are very similar to Polish and Latvian gravel venues.

So Kalle Rovanpera won a rally in style in front of his team mate Seb Ogier and Ott Tanak (Hyundai) who is now back in the title fight. M-Sport Ford's Adrien Fourmaux finished 4th overall while Elfyn Evans (Toyota) finished 5th.

Latvian surprise Martinš Sesks finished 7th overall after fighting for a podium for a whole weekend. Transmission problems on the last special stage ruined any chance of snatching it.
