Ott Tanak fastest at shakedown of WRC Rally Latvia 2024

Hi, friends!

Estonian Ott Tanak just had big accident at the testing for this rally rumning as a zero car at ERC Rally Estonia. He crashed out at the beginning of rally and the test chassis was completely destroyed and written off.

FIA decided to check the medical health of Tanak and his co-driver Martin Jarveoja before the rally so Hyundai decided to srnd Andreas Mikkelsen to make a recce just in case that Tanak and Jarveoja don't pass the medicals so that they have a replacement.

But guys are OK and they immediately posted a fastest time at shakedown special stage in front of his team mate Thierry Neuville and Toyota's Japanese driver Takamoto Katsuta.
