Hyundai 1-2-3 win at WRC Acropolis Rally Greece 2022
Hi, friends!
This weekend was an epic success for Hyundai Motorsport because they finally achieved 1-2-3 win for the first time, and it was on the super rough gravel of Acropolis Rally in Greece.
It was also a first win of the season for Thierry Neuville after some tough time this season. His team mate Ott Tanak gave him hard time this year after beating Neuville three times. This time it was Neuville's turn for the win, but with some help from Hyundai Motorsport boss who called team orders that they can achieve what they dreamed from when they joined the series - 1-2-3 win overall.
One of the drivers with the highest numbers of podiums - Dani Sordo finished 3rd overall and this was his sixth 3rd place in a row. This guy finish on the podium whenever he drives WRC car.
M-Sport Ford privateer Pierre-Louis Loubet scored his best finish of his career with 4th overall after being even better in the early stages of the rally. His team mate Craig Breen finished 5th overall.
Just to remind you the Seb Loeb was leading after day one with that Ford Puma Rally1 car but he retired because of the alternator problem.
This was really good rally and worth of following every minute. Next round is WRC New Zealand which could be even more exciting because things are getting complicated at the top of the leaderboard.
