Gryazin lost his WRC2 win from Monte Carlo Rallye 2023 on the green table

Some things in sport have a bitter taste and Nikolay Gryazin felt that yesterday, after the celebration and the prize giving, when guys from PH Sport appealed a protest from Gryazin because he cut the corner too deep and the FIA rules say that you can't cut the corner with all four wheel, only two are allowed.

From what I understand, it was dark and he had a flat tyre at that moment so he didn't have too much time to think. He did what he thought is OK at that moment and after watching an onboard material from Hryazin's car, Yohan Rossel's team PH Sport, which is an official Citroen Racing satellite team, decided to appeal against Toksport and Nikolay Gryazin's move in corner cutting.

FIA and Monte organizer's gave Gryazin 5s penalty which means he lost his rally win by only 0.5s. I can tell you that there is a riot on social media against Yohan Rossel but this story is over because FIA doesn't change their decisions after they say the video material which proves a move that didn't have to happen.

I am sorry for Gryazin because he was great the whole weekend but the rules are rules and they should be applied for all of us, no matter how big or small drivers we are.
