Cais tested with Škoda Fabia Rally2 ahead of Monte Carlo Rallye 2023

Hi, friends!

Young Czech rally prospect Erik Cais continues with developing of his talent and this time he did something really good - he decided to change the rally car from Ford Fiesta Rally2 to Škoda Fabia Rally2 machinery.

I guess that reason is obvious, Škoda's car is just much more reliable and quicker (reliable more then quicker because Ford Rally2 can be really fast in the right hands).

I can see from the video that they are testing in the right conditions of snow which is something my co-driver and I need ahead of Monte.

It seems that Cais has really big budget that they can search for the locations where they will find exact conditions which could be during the rally in the French Alps.

He is very good and with the right car, he could be even quicker this season. The only concern could be the fact that he is with the smaller team then the other Škoda guys who are mostly with the Toksport, which is also a Škoda's satellite team.

Video is very interesting and describes you the Monte conditions which could be seen every year in the mountains because the rally will be held, as any other year, in January.
