BREAKING NEWS: Oliver Solberg tested with Škoda ahead of WRC Monte Carlo Rallye 2023

Hi, friends!

It seems that mow we know who is the mysterious 4th driver at Škoda Motorsport but under the banner of Toksport, the German team which is kinda satellite team of Škoda works team.

Yeah, Škoda works team don't go on the events by itself but they usually send their engineers for all the bigger teams and, normally, if they pay them, for smaller as well.

Oliver Solberg is still in the hunt for the Rally1 category drive in 2023 but the seats are already almost occupied and only M-Sport Ford still didn't revealed their full line-up but they are selling the works seats to the privateers with the budget.

So Solberg jr will have to bring the budget if he wants a drive. But I doubt that they (Solberg's family) will pay for a drive. If he can drive for Škoda, it's better then staying at home watching the races from his home.

Yeah, to be a professional you must sometimes go to the lower category just to stay in the sport. And Oliver is just doing that at the moment because he was spotted at the test with Škoda somewhere in the French Alps testing ahead of Monte Carlo Rallye.
