🚲 VIPs Handing Out Clothes, Bikes, & Money! πŸ’΅

IMG_3502.JPG

There was an event kinda something like that where the VIPs come to give out something or do something, well there was one at my sister's school. They were handing out money, bikes, and school uniforms.

So the other day my sister's school has some VIP come to hand out bikes to top 5 students, and clothes to all of the students. They are also the same people who help build the school, fence, and bathroom to my sister's school. They are also the one that is going to pay for my school's bathroom. They are VIPs but I don't know who they are, well I think one of them is the governor of Veal Veng district.

They handed out bikes to students from 1st place to 5th place, and from 4th to 6th grade. I think they might be about 40 bikes more or less. My sister didn't get it since she is in 3rd grade and not anywhere between 1st place and 5th place. She did get 2000 riels which is 0.50$ and I think a pair of school uniforms. She gotta wait there and listen to them talk for about like 4 hours.

My principal was there too and that is the guy in a blue shirt next to a lady wearing a white shirt. Yeah I gotta zoom in other wise it would impossible to look for him on the picture. That's why he wasn't at my school in the evening he was at my sister's school, maybe try to get some of them to help built the school. Since my school doesn't even have a proper fence, and 7th grade is just build by my math teacher. My school looks kinda sad compared to my sister's school.

Here is me being drag to be in the picture unwillingly. Solinet is my desk mate since the beginning of 8th grade, Pilyka sat behind me and is Solinet best friend since like 2nd grade I think. Then there is Khanna who is my driver basically but not really now, since she missed school a lot and I have to take myself and my sister to school.

These two have been friends for a really long time and they seems more like siblings and friends. I can tell that they are going to be friends for many more years maybe even forever. I really wish I have a friend that last that long, and so far the only hope I get is Ah Hak and that's it probably.

Charity work for school brings smiles on faces of students also these actions can be way helpful for the education sector. Working is such way will bring attention of more under privileged students to come to school.I was thinking 6ty grade students are too young for having bikes ? Am I right ?

Well most 6th graders and below have already ride motorbikes to school since it is a must since they have to help and family and stuff. So they are definitely old enough to have bikes. Anyway I do agree with you that the charity works do brings smiles to the students and teachers too. Have a great day.

I appreciate the maturity they have , here in our academies 8th grade students are eligible to ride bikes as traffic system is horrible and raid accidents happen more often.

Traffic in Cambodia is back too but in my area there weren't many people living so it is easier for them to ride. Have a nice day.
