🛍️ A Trip From Pailin To Battambang, & Go Shopping! 🛺
So in my last post I told you about my trip to Pailin to renew my dad's visa. In this post I will tell you about my trip to Battambang.
So after my dad finished renewing his Visa, we left for Battambang. The road from Pailin to Battambang is better than the road we took from Pramaoy to Pailin. After what seems like a 2 hours ride we reach Battambang, but before we could reach the city of Battambang we have to visit a special person. That person is someone that I also called mom since I used to live at an orphanage/NGO place since my mom (srepov) used to work there. I think the person that I called mom whose name is Mai Roy, she used to work as a care giver, cook, and cleaner at the NGO/orphanage.
That girl is the photo is her daughter I didn't took the picture of Mai Roy, since I don't know where she went at the time. I can kinda remember her daughter but she looked really different back then, she is kinda a bit chubby now. She also has 2 kids both are boys, I think the older one is like 3 years old and the younger is only 1 year old. The younger one is not even a full 1 year old yet but he already know how to walk, but keep falling from time to time.
Well after maybe 1 hour we left to the city of Battambang to get something to eat at a place to stay. I think we ate at a vegetarian restaurant and stay at a hotel near by. After we ate and have a place to stay we decide to walk around and buy some stuff at the market. In Battambang there are a lot of markets and everything there is so cheap, in fact I think it has the cheapest vegetables in Cambodia.
My dad only go for a short period of time and have to head back since he got some work to do. After he left my mom wanted to buy him some avocado shake since my dad likes avocado shake a lot. Me, my mom, and my sister got some sugar came juice for only 1500 riels for a big cup. In Thmor Da 1 of the sugar cane juice probably cost 4000 or something, so while we were there we drank a lot of sugar cane juice.
