Alright so today I bit the bullet and opened up 10 of my rebellion packs that I picked up during the presell. A total of 110 where bought during that time frame which did land me some sweet sweet presale cards you honestly can't go wrong with those because they are so dang rare to come across.

Sadly no gold foils in that drop but still some cool cards that hold a decent amount of value. In fact I already used the Mantaroth in battle!

Focus

My main focus has been on land for the last two weeks and I'm happy to report that 15% of my opperations are online. lol I know that doesn't sound like a lot but it's actully a rather large invest. I'm waiting for some more plots to clear at the moment which are SPS (occupied lands) and also magical so we can start picking up even more research points.

The big things I'm eager about at the moment are liquidity pools for grain which I'm hoping to see this coming Tuesday but the team may wait until land 2.0 comes out where people are going to have to start making some big time calls on what they want to produce with their lands.

With that being said we also got a heads up that land plot types do matter. I'm unsure on how much they matter. Such as lumber for example can only be built on Terrain Types: Swamp, Forest, Tundra, Jungle and I'll be happy to report I own a TON of tundra sadly haha. But that means it seems like my main focus is going to be the lumber game.

Now it's unclear so far if you can build lumber camps on any plot and that the terrain types instead just offer a small bonus to production kind of like we see on occupied and magic but I'm leaning towards it's going to be restricted which starts to open up a whole new path for the game and some more strategic thinking. What I'm really looking forward to is using my legendary tundra plot and seeing what I want to use for that rolling forward. For now it's going to keep farming grain until land 2.0 comes out which seems like it should be here in Q1 of 2024.

Pack Opening

Since wagons and air drops will be happening soon I thought it best to open up some cards and get ready for it. So far it seems like either cards or packs can be staked into the wagons and will count towards air drops. I'm very eager to see how that's all going to play out and when it does. I'll for sure be staking them as a lot of my new game play style over there is mainly working land staking and maybe after that playing some battles. There's a ton of options to do with your assets in Splinterlands now and I'm constantly accumulating more and more.

My first 5 card pack opening wasn't so great all common and a few rare and maybe a gold foil. It was very underwhelming but I was determined to give it another go and ended up opening up 5 more packs.

Lucky for me I landed not one but TWO legendary cards (If it was a gold foil I would have lost my cool lol) those gold foils fetch a pretty penny over their normal foil variants.

This at least prepares me decently for the wagons and my plans are to open up around 10 of them with the current assets I have.

Guild

The guilds been doing pretty dang good. I'm also eager to see how that's going to play into land rolling forward. This time around we only earned enough merits to be able to open up a single pack.

but still 5 more cards to add to the pile are better than none and on top of it we locked in an Epic!
