Gaming is what I love and being able to earn and own real assets in gaming is even better! That's one of the MANY reasons why I continue to play and love the NFT hive game called Splinterlands These updates are big key features in which owning land now has added benefits. With land prices today you could easily grab some up and own your self a part of what is epicly about to come to the Splinterverse!

My Battles

I'm honestly happy to finally be back into champs again. With all of the bots from before and the way battles and the ranking system worked I was stuck in bronze with a max player deck legit unable to play for over a year. This effectively killed the game for me in terms of playing. However with recent changes I'm back to playing the game, earning and loving it!

Battles earn you rank rewards but also Glint which can be used in the shop in this case I earned a little over 1,000 and 3.761 SPS tokens for the win. That might not sound like a ton but it actually is rather decent compared to how it was before.

Land Updates

This might not seem like a big deal to most but it is to me. With rankings in land you can start to get a better picture of how your productions are compared to others. These rankings help to give you an idea of how you compare to others in terms of production value.

For research I'm ranked 186 overall which is actually lower then I thought it would be. Now for the bonuses it seems pretty limited in terms of the amount of people that are going to get a bonus from research at the moment. It's still very unclear on what research is other then it's something you're going to want and will provide big bonuses in the years to come.

For now I'm pretty happy with the research. I still have other plots I do want to bring online but I'll need a good 50k DEC for each of them to get them online something that I've instead been investing into the burn event and liquidity pools mainly instead.

As for grain I'm surprised at what a high level I am on that. I currently am ranked 57th and hold over 9.1 million grain but I also have some in my liquidity pool which I've been stacking up. Mainly my goal with grain is to stack as much as possible right now because in the long run it's going to pay off being it's one of the biggest resources that are going to be used and burned as new plots and new buildings start to go up later in land 2.0.

The Bonus

With this new update there are now titles which are called Prefix titles. These titles update hourly so if you hit one of them it could take a hour for it to show.

Currently I'm ranked Marshal because of owning a keep at the moment in area 102. Now what this does it earns me 10% more reward points earning from my ranked battles. So what might have been 1000 before is now 1100 which can seriously add up to a massive amount of shop items over time. It also seems like it will help in boosting SPS earned from ranked battles further improving overall returns for owning land plots. say I earn 3 SPS per battle I now would earn 3.3 per win which could mean 3-6 SPS more per day.

Overall these are some positive changes happening with land and giving value to some items again. I believe this will only be the start of much more land values. For me it's stacking season!
