Good morning, everyone! How are things going in your latest ranking battles? Good? Bad? Meh? "Are You Not Entertained?" is a new ruleset in Splinterlands that has lately spiced up the battles. This new ruleset allows for the usage of One Additional Gladiator card in battles. I was able to use three Gladiator cards in this Brawl Match thanks to my new summoner, HELIOS MATRIARCH, who also allows one additional Gladiator card to be played in battle. Let's take a look!

Are You Not Entertained?

Players may play one additional Gladiator Card per battle.

Let's Battle!

For this Brawl fight, the rulesets are Even Stevens, Target Practice and Are You Not Entertained?. The maximum amount of mana that can be used is 38. Dragon, Life and Fire are the only elements that can be used, which means that I can use my Helios Matriarch!

The opponent used Tarsa as Summoner and used 2 Gladiator Cards. The Gladiator Cards that the opponent used are Chimney Wallstop with Reach and Bloodlust ability and Orella Abadon with Sneak and Bloodlust abilities. On my side, here is my line-up for this Brawl Battle.

Position/RoleCardDescription
SummonerHelios MatriarchWith this summoner, I can play 1 more Gladiator card and since this is a Dragon Summoner, I am allowed to use other elements.
Position 1GorthA Gladiator card with Epic Rarity. This one has Bloodlust ability only but has a thick HP suited for the first Position.
Position 2Chimney WallstopA Gladiator Card with Reach and Bloodlust ability suited for the second position. It can also serve as tank since it has 3 Armor and 9 HP.
Position 3Orella AbadonA Rare Gladiator card that has Sneak and Bloodlust ability, hoping that there are support monsters on the enemy side to prey on.
Position 4Dhampir InfiltratorThis one has Sneak ability too and Double Strike. It will work with Orella Abadon to attack enemy monsters from the back.
Position 5Supply RunnerI used this card to further boost the Speed of my monsters in addition to Speed buff from Helios Matriarch.
Position 6Naga AssassinThis is my first line of defense from the back and hoping that it will dodge attacks from enemy monsters with Sneak or Opportunity and trigger its Backfire ability.

Okay. We have three Gladiator cards at play here hoping that the advantage will be on my side. The level cap here is for Silver League and the opponent only used a Level 2 Rare Summoner, so I already have the advantage in terms of cards stats. Because my cars have higher speed, my Dhampir Infiltrator easily eliminated the opponent Orella Abadon. My Orella Abadon was also able to attack and inflicted damage to enemy Molten Ash Golem while Gorth and Chimney Wallstop are focusing their attacks on enemy Antoid Platoon.

In Round 2, opponent Antoid Platoon was defeated by my Gorth and triggered Gorth's Bloodlust. My Chimney Wallstop then proceeded on attacking the enemy Chimney Wallstop, easily destroying its shield. At this point, enemy Magi of Chaos was already defeated by Supply Runner and Naga Assassin.

The battle concluded early than anticipated. My ranged attackers attacked enemy Scavo Firebolt and my monsters with Sneak ability attacked the back line monster. Due to high speed stats of my monsters, the enemy attacks also missed while my Gorth and Chimney Wallstop easily landed their attacks.

At Round 3, turn 9, my Chimney Wallstop landed the final blow on the enemy Chimney Wallstop. And that concluded the battle. Here is the full replay in Splinterlands.

Gladiator Cards are powerful cards that are typically used in Brawl battles. When left unchecked, one Gladiator card with the Bloodlust ability can shift the tide of the battle. When used correctly, possessing three Gladiator Cards can provide a significant advantage. And, with the addition of the "Are You Not Entertained?" ruleset and summoners capable of summoning Gladiator Cards outside of Brawl matches, these Gladiator cards are a must-have in your deck. So keep grinding and make sure you don't burn these cards because they're quite useful in battle.
