Good day, Splinterlands! It's time again for Splinterlands' SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! DRAGONS! For this post, I would like to share one of my battles featuring three Legendary Dragons - Quix The Devious, Agor Longtail and Chaos Dragon. Agor Longtail and Chaos Dragon have high mana requirements and perfect for high mana cap battles. This battle happened in Silver Modern League. Let's take a look at it.

First, here is a quick rundown of the Legendary Dragons that I used in this battle: Quix The Devious, Agor Longtail and Chaos Dragon

Let's Battle!

The Modern Format ruleset for this fight are Target Practice (All Ranged and Magic Attack Monsters have the Sniper ability) and Briar Patch (All Monsters have the Thorns ability.). The maximum amount of mana allowed is 54. This mana cap is perfect for my dragon cards since they requirement a huge amount of mana to summon these monsters.

My Summoner in this battle is Quix The Devious. Since the ruleset has Briar Patch, I thought that the enemy line will be mostly ranged and magic attack monsters. So I used Quix the Devious to de-buff the range attack and also the speed. My main tank here is Agor Longtail with its Taunt and Void armor abilities and thick armor and HP. It also has 2 attacks, Magic and Melee that can do massive damage and has high chance of evading melee and range attacks because of its Flying ability. My monster in the second position is quite experimental. Agor Longtail already has the Taunt ability and for Iziar in the second position to also have Taunt ability, I thought of which one will be attacked first. My card in the third position is Chaos Dragon with its Scattershot and Blast abilities for additional damage. My fourth card is Time Mage with its Slow ability combined with Quix the Devious Speed de-buff, this will greatly decrease the speed of the enemy. My card in the fifth position is Venari Crystalsmith and will support my tank with its Tank Heal ability. Lastly, my card in the sixth position is another Dragon card, Naga Assassin. I hoped that the speed de-buff on the enemy side will make their attack missed on Naga Assassin and will return the damage using its Backfire ability.

My strategy here is to attack first using my dragon's overwhelming attack damage. However, the enemy used Lorna Shine that provided its allied monsters Divine Shield ability. With this the first attack of my monsters will be ignored. Good thing that I have Chaos Dragon with Blast ability. The Blast damage can also be considered first damage to the enemy. The enemy also used ranged monsters and were affected by Quix the Devious -1 Ranged Attack de-buff.

In Round 1, Chaos Dragon attacked Prismologist and the effect of Blast affected War Pegasus. Agor Longtail attacked Uriel The Purifier and its Melee attack backfired because of the Briar Patch ruleset.

In Round 2, Agor Longtail attacked Uriel The Purifier again and suffered from Thorn again. Chaos Dragon attacked Prismologist again and this time, inflicted 3 damage to it. The Blast effect also inflicted damage to War Pegasus.

Also in Round 2, Uriel The Purifier was ready to attack and killed Agor Longtail with a massive damage. Good thing that I still have Iziar, a monster with Taunt ability. This will give more time for my damagers and supports to do their job. In Round 3, Chaos Dragon attacked Corsair Bosun and Blast affected Uriel The Purifier and War Pegasus.

In Round 4, Chaos Dragon attacked Uriel The Purifier but Blast has no effect to Corsair Bosun because of its Reflection Shield ability. Also, since Chaos Dragon did massive damage to Prismologist and War Pegasus, my other monsters were able to defeat these two. In Round 5, my line up focused on Uriel the Purifier and since I still have the my support monsters, the advantage is on my side. Uriel The Purifier's Heal ability was not enough to endure the damage from my remaining monsters.

Finally, in Round 6 and 7, my line up was able to defeat Corsair Bosun and my opponent making me the winner of this battle.

Below is the full replay in Splinterlands. This is a great battle to test out the abilities of my Dragons. Some of the enemy physical attacks missed because of the Flying ability of my Dragons together with Quix the Devious -1 Speed de-buff. Speed is one of the deciding factor in this battle. Because my line-up has higher speed, they were able to inflict damage first to the enemy.
