I keep improving on the ways I handle Anger...

Anger is a feeling that comes with sadness to every human on earth once in a while. It is just a natural emotion. No one loves getting angry but they do come regardless.

To accurately describe anger remains a challenge to me, it's just indescribable but attempts could be made because just like you can't specifically explain joy, you can't also explain anger.. you just have the feeling that makes you want to burst into pieces.

When we are angry, we even resort to doing many unnecessary things and some will go to the extent of doing things they dislike which they will obviously regret when they've calmed down.
Anger goes hand in hand with pain and psychologists will always tell you never to take a big decision of your life when you're angry because you will most times regret doing whatever you did then but we are humans anyway and might make mistakes once or twice and that is the reason why we ought to keep finding ways to manage our anger effectively...

.

When I was younger, I always reacted immediately in anger whenever I'm angry but growing older, I discovered that I could limit the damages I do to myself so I kept improving myself by these methods....

  • Self-Withdrawal:

Not the best of methods but it does help actually.
When I am angry, it's easier for me to transfer aggression to others which I will regret when I'm fine.
So to avoid this, withdrawing from people for a while seems fine to me until I'm back on my feet again.
Self withdrawal also helps you to change your environment where you can sit down again and rearrange yourself and before you know it, you will get better.

  • Solving the root cause:

Every anger is caused by a trigger because no one just wakes up and gets angry for no reason hence managing my anger will start from identifying the root cause of what made me get angry and trying to solve it because when I do, the anger naturally goes away

  • Effective Communication:

When I'm angry, discussing interesting topics with my friends helps me a lot.
When we keep talking and also listening without interruption, sharing humours together and laughing on them, I get better because at a point, we might talk about the root cause of my anger and problem shared with the right person is half solved already.

  • Deep Breathing:

It's funny but it does work... when I'm angry, simple breathing in and out multiple times helps me take off my mind from the root of my anger.
It gets more effective when I'm doing that and also thinking about something else that I enjoy thinking about.

  • Letting out tears:

They say men don't cry, lol... That's like torture anyway because sometimes, crying brings a good solution to your pains.
You ever have that feeling of wanting to cry when it feels like your head is full and the whole world is resting on your shoulder?
I do sometimes but they say men shouldn't cry anyway, hehehe.

Not like it solves anything but then it helps you psychological to calm down.

Getting angry is natural but then, acting on anger isn't and is more detrimental than beneficial to us and that is the reason why we should always strive hard to be better.
Never act in anger!!!!

Yep, crying is a way we cleanse our deepest emotions. It is important to do it regularly so it doesn't build up too much. Good to know there are men who do this nowadays. One way is to watch movies that can make those tears flow. hehe.
