Always wanting to know could be dangerous
Curiosity... quite an important topic to talk on, do you know why?
It's because it has got both the positive and negative impacts.
Regardless of how curiousity ended up for you though, I personally think that the meritss far outweighs the demerits.... How would life be fun without curiosity? I can't imagine that, hehe.
Personally, curiosity has been a great tool of growth for me in many aspects of life.
I literally ask questions before doing any major thing I want to do.
Can't forget in a haste of how inquisitive I was on joining Hive, always wanting to know how things were done, wanting to know the reasons behind every single thing anyone does starting from the reason behind the usage of tags down to the last reason regarding a particular post.
I must really say it has really helped me a lot in my growth on the Hive Blockchain.
Ohhh! A day I would never regret about been curious; it was during one of the days while I was doing my posting at the urology clinic.
We were done for the day around 2pm and u wanted to Goa free been signed out for the day, I looked inside a consultation room and saw group of students gathered together in the room with a Senior Registrar from General Surgery department sitting Infront of them.
It was almost time for our exams and of course, no one wants to be left out on any crucial information.
I quickly made my way into the room to inquire from my friend what was actually going on in the consultation room... Lo and Behold! I entered and on wanting to leave, the senior registrar told me to stay back until I bail myself by answering a question.
A question? I shouted, the man said yes.
I was like, "Sir, I'm not In this unit and I am yet to do my general Surgery posting so how exactly could I answer questions coming from the department 😢
The man told me that nobody cares about all those my reasons on the exam day since we would be answering the same question which was absolutely correct but he forgot to say that I must have visited the general surgery department before the examination day.
That was how I ended up staying in the hospital with my friends until it was around 4pm that day.. I felt like crying blood but the man didn't care😂.
He finally pitied me and asked me question on urology which I got and he told me I could now go.
If not for the fact that I was already tired for the day and then I had no prior orientation on general surgery department, it would have really been a nice experience for me but I wouldn't say it was all that bad anyway.

Curiosity indeed could go both ways but just like I stated on the beginning, I would still go for it because it really adds spice to life
Thanks for reading and have a nice sleep👍
I love how you began by telling us that curiosity has both positive and negative impact but the positive is more beneficial if we choose that part.
I know as the man kept you for that long, your mind will be racing with so many thoughts. Curious about what kind of question would he throw at me? Will it be easy or hard, I don't want to be embarrassed but the good thing is that you got the question he asked.
Yep, my mind raced many miles before the question came indeed
I'll take the positive aspect of curiosity anytime anyday
Well done dear friend.
Thanks
I would always go for it as I believe I am a cat in that aspect and I have lots of life.
Hehe, you were truly caught sha😂😂. But you bailed yourself out anyways and that is great.
I waltzed in from #dreemport for I am a #dreemer. An awesomely made superb #dreemerforlife. Have a great day with a smile!
Hehehe, I bailed myself eventually though... After Series of stress
Thanks for reading
Haha ... Pele.
The result of curiosity can be positive and negative depends on situation and luck. But it's true that there was no curiosity, then there would be no invention.
Exactly.... The mother of invention remains curiosity.... Always wanting to know
heheh, i remembered when there was a fight in my area among cultist, i went ahead to see whats up thinking it would be fun to watch. I got there and a gun was pointed at me. I wasnt scared tho because i was very young.
There is a saying that goes like this. there are two things that can kill a cat.
😂😂😂😂
You weren't scared.. wow
it was when i have grown i know i did something stupid
Indeed oh
Now that I think of it, my curiosity has gotten me into trouble or worse many times. I learnt the hard way that there should be a limit to this curiosity of a thing😂.
Good thing you answered the question on urology else, it would have been a different story.
I came in through #dreemport.
#dreemerforlife✨
Hehe, it really gets us into trouble no doubt.
But most times it's worth going for, just like in my case that I ended up learning a lot
Well, that's a good thing.
I hope you're doing okay Spero.
I was under the weather for a few days, courtesy of malaria 🤧
But I'm better now, thanks for asking.
I hope you're okay too?
Aiiishh, malaria can be terrible. Glad you are better.
I am good. Thank you for asking 😌
Alright dear
Curiosity with passion will yield good result and will take you beyond the limit of others. Curiosity is research but let it not be in meddling in people's affairs to be able to gossip the real cause.
#dreemersforlife #dreemport
Nah... Those are entirely separate things altogether
Curiosity, genuine curiosity with reason is far more different from gossiping
Curiosity can either be positive or negative, Most times the negative side is more than the positive
Sometimes you will see people running, without asking the reason behind the race you will join.
Others in the front will also join the race immediately after they sighted people running in their direction. after you might have run for about 5mins without stopping then you will start asking yourselves
That was how many ran into the canal at Ikeja cantonment.
#dreemerforlife
Well, depends on the angle you're looking at it
Personally, the experiences I have are where the benefits of curiosity outweighs the negatives.
Thanks for engaging
One of the reasons behind acquisition of knowledge is curiousity of how things get to be, it is in human nature to be curious and seek for knowledge. It is like a natural reflex buried deep in our subconscious.
I guess the urge you had to know what was going on, is just natural and moreover due to it, you had the opportunity to learn new things.
