Touring the oldest mall in Maracay (Eng - Spa)
Parque Aragua Shopping Mall
I have some nice memories of this place when I was a little girl, one associated with the movies, which is one of my favorite hobbies. I saw my first movie in this mall with a cousin who passed away and whom I loved very much. The cinema had several rooms and that experience was so nice that I keep it in my memory, years later I returned with my parents and my brother to see a children's movie, but we could not enter, as my brother was a baby and was not allowed, several decades have passed and it seems that time has not changed it looks identical since it opened in 1978, of the few changes it has suffered is the elimination of the cinema.
Centro Comercial Parque Aragua
This mall was the first to be built in Maracay, it is a replica of another mall in Propatria in Caracas, the capital of the country, with some differences and both were built by the same architect Carlos Brando, it has had its time where it has become popular, especially when they created a food fair that today is gradually closing. Despite the construction of several shopping centers in the city, Parque Aragua has remained strong because it has great advantages. The first is its location, since it is in the middle of Bolivar Avenue and two blocks from the passenger terminal.
Its front is not flashy, but it is easy to access, both by car and as a pedestrian. It has 3 levels and many stores, some of which are empty and free for rent. It has 4 escalators, two in each main wing. Its elevators for the public and others for the maintenance staff, its floors are always clean and the lights of the roof or premises are reflected in it. It has an outdoor parking lot and a subway parking lot where there are also shops and businesses operating.
Its architecture is sober in my opinion, but functional, I really like that it is accessible to anyone with any disability or physical limitation, as it has a wide concrete ramp with a comfortable slope for everyone, without major impact on joints or wheelchairs.
The day I went there they were decorating with Christmas motifs and there was an opening of a cap shop with many people lining up to buy at a good price. The view from the upper levels is nice, you can see the tallest building, the Sindoni Tower.
Parque Aragua is a nice and safe place to shop. There is surveillance on all levels. There are also clothing stores, pet stores, technology stores, shoe stores, pharmacies, bakeries, banks, and restaurants. Since the aisles are wide, there are kiosks or shopping bubbles for toys, handbags, holistic things, eyewear and more.
If there is something I like about this mall is its spaciousness for walking, and the easy access and exit, since at the front there are two wide entrance spaces and at the back there is the same and it is adjacent to another mall called professional and residential that I don't know yet. Definitely, this mall remains current because it is always reinventing itself. Its structure will never go out of fashion because of the comfort it provides and because of the years it has been around, it is already part of the culture and society.
If a person comes to the state of Aragua for the first time and does not visit this mall, it is like not coming. I hope you enjoyed this tour of Parque Aragua. See you in the comments, thanks for making it to the end.

This mall is very spacious. If I were confused and didn't know the way, I might get lost.
Yes, it is very large, but everything is well identified and there are people to guide you and help you find your way around.
Whenever you want I can take you there. @tomidiwirja 😉😅
I have noticed that the old shopping malls have elongated floors. With lots of aisles to walk down. It's a nice mall.
The mall has wide aisles, the opening of the store attracted many customers, the view of the Sindoni tower I love, it is a nice building with a great design.
Hello, Belki good evening.
That mall has reinvented itself and always has new business.
The tower is very nice, I want to make a post of it, when I visit the city I have that task.😉
