En la jornada de hoy jueves se enfrentan Argentina y Ecuador. Para el día de mañana viernes se miden Venezuela y Canadá. En la jornada del sábado son dos choques: Uruguay ante Brasil y Colombia frente a Panamá. Sin dejar de mencionar las selecciones eliminadas, entre las que considero que fracasaron en el torneo, como por ejemplo: Chile, México y la anfitriona Estados Unidos. | Estos son para mí los países que considero que son los grandes favoritos para avanzar a las semifinales. En la primera llave tenemos a Argentina frente a Ecuador. La selección argentina es la gran favorita para eliminar a los ecuatorianos, no solo por tener al mejor futbolista de la historia Lionel Messi, sino porque están defendiendo su Copa América obtenida en el último torneo y por supuesto por juego colectivo. Cuentan con el goleador del torneo Lautaro Martínez con 4 tantos y el portero Dibu Martínez quien no ha recibido goles en el torneo. Además, Ecuador sufrió mucho en avanzar en su clasificación y considero que los ecuatorianos juegan mejor en la altura de Quito. En la siguiente llave tenemos a Venezuela y Canadá. Es difícil conseguir aquí un favorito y más aún porque soy venezolano. Es un duelo muy parejo y deseo que la Vinotinto clasifique a semifinales. Canadá tiene futbolistas en la élite como Davies, pero Venezuela tiene un núcleo de futbolistas que darán todo por eliminar a los canadienses con su delantero Salomón Rondón y su DT Bocha Batista. Dios mediante, espero que Venezuela siga avanzando y se meta entre los 4 mejores equipos del continente. También se está disputando la Eurocopa y justamente en los Cuartos de Final. Hay dos duelos espectaculares como el choque de titanes entre Alemania y España, también estará el Francia ante Portugal. Por el otro lado de la llave estarán Países Bajos frente a Turquía e Inglaterra ante Suiza. Para mí avanzan España, Portugal, Países Bajos y Suiza seguirá dando la sorpresa. Muy bien argumentada la elección de tus favoritos a excepción de Venezuela donde solo el corazón habla; como muchos venezolanos, la fe en que les va a ir bien es mayor a cualquier análisis.
Y eso está perfecto, si los venezolanos no están conformes con su selección y le tienen fe entonces ¿quién?
