My passion for homemade ice cream began a few years ago, when I discovered my ability to create unique and delicious flavors in my own kitchen, with the confidence in my culinary skills and the desire to share my creations with the world, I decided to take the leap and found my homemade ice cream production company, I knew I would face challenges, but I was willing to work hard to make my dream come true.

Al mismo tiempo, tenía la oportunidad de trabajar en la Universidad del Zulia, siendo muy joven y en una institución pública prestigiosa, aunque el trabajo en la universidad me proporcionaba estabilidad y seguridad, pero luego de la pandemia también me ofrecía una flexibilidad horaria invaluable para dedicar tiempo a mi negocio de helados, decidí aprovechar esta oportunidad única y acepté el reto, sabiendo que podría equilibrar ambas responsabilidades de manera efectiva.

At the same time, I had the opportunity to work at the University of Zulia, being very young and in a prestigious public institution, although working at the university provided me with stability and security, but after the pandemic it also offered me invaluable time flexibility to dedicate time to my ice cream business, I decided to take advantage of this unique opportunity and accepted the challenge, knowing that I could balance both responsibilities effectively.
Equilibrando dos mundos
Equilibrar mi trabajo en la universidad y mi negocio de helados caseros no ha sido fácil, pero ha valido la pena cada esfuerzo, la clave para lograrlo radica en una buena planificación y organización, establecí horarios claros para cada una de mis responsabilidades y aprendí a administrar mi tiempo de manera eficiente, esto me ha permitido cumplir con mis obligaciones en la universidad sin descuidar mi negocio y al mismo tiempo, tener la libertad de adaptar mi horario para atender las demandas cambiantes de mi emprendimiento.
Beneficios de ser mi propia jefa
Ser mi propia jefa en la industria de helados caseros ha sido una experiencia gratificante en muchos aspectos, tengo la libertad de tomar decisiones creativas y estratégicas para mi negocio, y disfruto viendo cómo mis ideas cobran vida, además la industria de alimentos me ha brindado la oportunidad de conectarme con personas apasionadas por la gastronomía y compartir mi amor por los sabores únicos y artesanales.
Balancing two worlds
Balancing my work at the university and my homemade ice cream business has not been easy, but it has been worth every effort, the key to achieve it lies in good planning and organization, I established clear schedules for each of my responsibilities and learned to manage my time efficiently, this has allowed me to meet my obligations at the university without neglecting my business and at the same time, have the freedom to adapt my schedule to meet the changing demands of my venture.

Being my own boss in the homemade ice cream industry has been a rewarding experience in many ways, I have the freedom to make creative and strategic decisions for my business, and I enjoy seeing my ideas come to life, plus the food industry has given me the opportunity to connect with people who are passionate about food and share my love for unique and artisanal flavors.
Esta es mi prueba de que es posible mediar en una empresa pública y ser tu propio jefe en un emprendimiento exitoso, la flexibilidad horaria que me brinda mi trabajo en la Universidad del Zulia me ha permitido desarrollar y hacer crecer mi negocio de helados caseros, mientras disfruto de la estabilidad y seguridad de trabajar en una institución reconocida, la clave radica en encontrar un equilibrio.
Siempre es posible lograr todo lo que te propongas, con compromiso y mucho optimismo, un día en una entrevista y otro día preparando helados, en mi caso, pero no importa de que manera lo quieras hacer, lo importante entender que el límite somos nosotros.
This is my proof that it is possible to mediate in a public company and be your own boss in a successful venture, the flexible schedule that my job at the University of Zulia gives me has allowed me to develop and grow my homemade ice cream business, while enjoying the stability and security of working in a recognized institution, the key lies in finding a balance.
It is always possible to achieve everything you set your mind to, with commitment and a lot of optimism, one day in an interview and another day preparing ice cream, in my case, but no matter which way you want to do it, the important thing to understand is that the limit is us.
