Hello Aliens OF Hive 👽, I come this time to bring you this illustration that I made using ink and then adding color digitally with #ArtRage and a Wacom Bamboo tablet. The illustration was made in a free way I really like conceptual art and I have developed my own mixed technique based on the drawing in which the idea that I want to capture prevails over the materials.

Hola Aliens de Hive 👽, vengo en esta oportunidad a traerles esta illustración que realice utilizando tinta y luego agregando color de forma digital con #ArtRage y una tableta modelo Bamboo de la marca Wacom. La ilustración fue hecha de manera libre me gusta mucho el arte conceptual y he desarrollado mi propia técnica mixta en función al dibujo en la que prevalece la idea que quiero plasmar por sobre los materiales.

My first step was to make my drawing with a medium tip black marker, this has always been one of my favorite materials and one that I feel very comfortable with as well as black pens.

Mi primer paso fue hacer mi dibujo con un marcador negro de punta media, este siempre ha sido uno de mis materiales favoritos y con el cual me siento muy a gusto asi como con los lapiceros negros.

Then I scanned the image, I am not against photographs, but to preserve the fidelity of the details and textures it is always preferable to scan the image and the line takes this intensity in the black that for my style is very important.

Luego pase a escanear la imagen, no estoy en contra de las fotografías pero para conservar la fidelidad de los detalles y las texturas siempre es preferible escanear además al hacerlo la linea toma esta intensidad en el negro que para mi estilo es muy importante.

After going through Photoshop I did the process of removing the background and just leave the lines to start adding the color, this coloring process is the one that takes me the most time because I try to do it as detailed as possible.

Luego de pasar por Photoshop hice el proceso de quitar el fondo y solo dejar las lines para asi comenzar a agregar el color, este proceso de colorear es el que más tiempo me toma pues trato de hacerlo de la forma más detallada posible.

This coloring process is done by layers where in each layer as you can see I place different elements such as shadows or lights that go in a separate layer, this allows me to control when correcting any detail or error.

Este proceso de coloreado es realizado por capas donde en cada capa como pueden ver voy colocando diferentes elementos como por ejemplo las sombras o las luces que van en una capa independiente, esto me permite el control al momento de corregir algún detalle o error.

The software used for coloring is called ArtRage 6 and I highly recommend it.

El software usado para dar color se llama ArtRage 6 y lo recomiendo ampliamente.

The tablet used as previously mentioned is the Wacom Bamboo.

La Tabla Utilizada como lo mencioné previamente es la Bamboo de la Marca Wacom
