Yellow - associations on the road

I have favorite car colors that are expanding the palette these days with all the new shades and types hitting the market as a kind of fad, but yellow has definitely never been one of them. Well, I've already photographed a gold Bentley once, but gold is different from yellow, right?

And this is perhaps because of this so typical and logical association with taxis. At least in Bulgaria.
If you see a yellow car on the street, your expectations are for a taxi, no matter what the car is, how customized it is, expensive, etc.
Well, ok, Britain doesn't have that problem, but still.

So, these are pictures taken somewhere on the road in England, and the second one is my entry to the travelcontest's contest #195, theme Yellow

You're right, UK has not such an issue, their usual and famous cabs being black :)
In Spain, as far as I recall, taxis are white with a diagonal red ribbon on the sides.

Hmm, it's strange that I've been to Spain so many times and I can't remember what taxis look like. Maybe because I haven't had to use them. But I already know about the notorious English taxis.

I loved the design, I think it's an excellent designer choice, with the white color, that is practical and that royal red diagonal ribbon. Yes, I've used taxi in Valencia a few times! :)
