Rainy weather is so unpleasant

It rained all day yesterday, so I remembered that I had forgotten what an obstacle to daily life rain is.
I was going to go for a walk outside and I never did.
It is not the cold, nor the snow, that would most prevent a person from going outside, though it is never pleasant for one to walk in such climate conditions (well, that's at least my opinion).
It's the rain.

Who likes to walk wet, who likes to get his clothes and shoes soaked?

It's not just because the roads and sidewalks in Bulgaria are not well made, there are a lot of puddles, sods, you can always be splashed by a car when it passes by you or you can do it yourself if you step on a displaced pavement tile or similar.

Sometimes there are such heavy rains (like the current ones) that they wash away cars, entire streets and household goods.
Sometimes the rains are not so heavy, but still rivers flow in the streets and you have no way to cross except to take off your shoes and roll up the legs. Otherwise, your shoes just go (unless they're special hiking shoes, but they're not supposed to be your everyday shoes that you wear to work and the like...)

In short, rainy weather is so unpleasant.
