Puzzle pictures forming a city - a walk in the city of Ardino
You know those posts I do sometimes - individual photos that when viewed separately don't make much sense, but when put together can represent something, a whole place, tell a story.
I plan to do just that with my remaining photos of this interesting town - Ardino.
Individual pieces that fit together like a puzzle. Little insignificant bits that maybe don't say much. I chose them like that on purpose. They are special. The way this city, its history and inhabitants are special in themselves.
And yet, everything runs smoothly here, absolutely like water. Like the river under that bridge:
And the settlement has withstood the stormy times like this old stone fence here:
(Notice the slot on the left side that looks like a mailbox slot.)
But its inhabitants are even stronger. Just like this geranium that made its way through the stone:
I was impressed with this professional training center. Maybe because the inscriptions on it were in Bulgarian, and this settlement is dominated by Turkish (although located in Bulgaria 😉. It's a tricky thing, isn't it?). I was also impressed by the professions in which people are trained here - carpet-weaver, fireman, car tinsmith and many more:
A tin mailbox, painted blue with the number 13, on a street with the name of the capital of the country - Sofia. In this small and peculiar settlement, the name of this street stands out strangely. Along with the number:
Some pompous architectural decorations:
Other decorations. That of the bridge over the river I showed you above:
View. High from the place I showed you already.
Where the historical museum
and the Old gunpowder magazine are located.
(These are just vague particles of them.)
Then we go back to the city center:
where the walk actually started.
And the circle closes.
Did you get any insight from the city that way? 😊

Such beautiful details from this colorful place. Everything speaks for its rich history, indeed. It is also obvious it was once an establishment where some wealthy people had lived!

You must be killin' it out here!
@lightcaptured just slapped you with 1.000 PIMP, @soulsdetour.
You earned 1.000 PIMP for the strong hand.

I was actually amazed at the cleanliness and tidiness of this small town - so unfamiliar to me and with such an unfamiliar history. The population... the peculiarity of the details completely corresponds to the population. There is no way that the appearance of the city does not correspond to the essence of the people inside.
I have already shown a very strange part of this place and decided to show other strange things. 😃 I don't know if this can be felt just with some pictures...
!PIZZA
Exactly! One comparison just popped in my mind - traveling through Northern and Southern parts of Italy.
I remember the perfectly clear streets up North and the waves of garbage on the streets on of Southern parts.
It is all about the perception of the local people.
!PIZZA
Then this place here, and its people, really deserve attention and respect, because... I feel hopeless at the constant lack of interest of all the people in this country in terms of the cleanliness and orderliness of the place to live or the protection of the environment in general. And what I saw here is extraordinary. Not seen in many places in this country. And that makes it even more special.

I find here some correlation between the religion and the everyday life.
Like for instance, Muslim people take their shoes off outside their homes.

What a beautiful city, I love its bright colors and the proximity of the mountains
Beautiful shots tell the story of the city
I take this opportunity to wish you a splendid day
Yes, the city has a very interesting location - on separate hills. It is located in the mountains. Small and neat town. I was amazed by its decoration and arrangement.
Thank you for stopping by 😊 Have a wonderful evening!
Yes, it gave me a good overview of some highlights of this city. Some will not find.
Thanks for sharing your walk through here.
Beautiful captures.
Have a wonderful day @soulsdetour 👋🏻😁
Thank you very much for appreciating it!
Have an awesome evening! 😊
You are welcome @soulsdetour 😁
Thanks a lot, enjoy yours!
Happy #wednesdaywalk! what a lovely city 🙂 I love the bright colors and the hanging baskets. And of course the super cute mailbox 😁
Ha ha, people are attracted to bright colors, isn't that always the case? And if you add some flowers to these colors, it becomes a trap for people (or bees... or Hivers... or something) 🤔😃

I so love the hanging flowers in shades of pink. Your place is so cool my friend. Happy Wednesday walk!
I can say that even I was amazed when I saw these flower baskets. They are not found in many places and in many cities, I guess. Because they require investment and constant care, for which municipalities usually do not have money. But here it looks like they have. Which means that this place is quite rich and very well governed.
In the third image, the structure of the wall is really worth a look, it's simple but still looks complicated.
I looked at the gun power machine and how it works for the first time on utube. Thanks for sharing these pics with us. !1UP
I couldn't even judge whether this is an old or a new construction (in the third photo). It seems to be old but some strengthening has been done recently. Regarding the gun powder magazine, this is actually a building I wrote about 4 days ago.
It's interesting how different photos attract the attention of different people 😊
Thank you for stopping by!
Apologies for the typo above. Mentioned magazine as machine:)
No worries. It's understandable.

This is a very interesting town situated in a hilly landscape and colorful architecture. I love it when nature grows where it perceivably shouldn't.
Yes, I have seen many such examples - usually with delicate flowers breaking through asphalt or cement. 😁 Nature always wants to tell us something, I guess.
The town is really very interesting, with an amazing appearance and with so many strange things and places inside it... 😊
