Colors and perception

There is this flowering bush in the garden, the name of which I never got.

But the year I first saw it was the year of 'the big shoot'.

(Not these pictures.)

This plant was the scene of a constant influx of pollinating insects.

And it was here that I first saw all sorts of new species of bees that I hadn't seen before.

Which you know is quite comforting in this day and age when we are being scared every day that the bees are disappearing and that we will die very soon.

But that's not really why I'm showing you this bush today, which is long not in a blooming phase yet.

The reason is rather that it turns out that every time I photographed it, its flowers were a different color.
No, not because this plant changes colors every day. It's not because of that. But because I photographed it with different devices, as well as with different camera applications on the phone. (Do you remember the identical case with the rose in our garden - again, it is about the red and pink-purple colors.)

All the photos above were taken with application, which was later found to change and distort the colors. But at the time I took them, I didn't think I had any other option.

The original camera on my phone at the time also had major problems

(you see the results).

Later the developers updated it and most of them were fixed.

But I hope you do now notice something else - the colors.
I hope you can see the striking difference, mostly in the color of the flowers.

Personally, I can say with certainty that the colors in the first photos are not real. Because these flowers certainly don't have that reddish color.
But I can no longer claim that the last colors are real either.
You see - these are just two cameras that interpret colors in their own way. But what can we say when the subjective human factor intervenes.
So, who is wrong and who is right? Whose perception is true and whose is wrong? And are we in a position to judge this at all?
