If I was a Girl ... Weekend Engagement Week 210
Hello everyone this is my entry for the #Weekend-Engagement.
I come from a family of seven, I have a brother and three sisters. In a Nigerian home women are known to be in charge of the kitchen, the mothers and her female children would be the one to prepare the daily meals. Being of masculine gender is quite frustrating in the essence that the menincluding the father and his Male children are prohibited taking part in anything related to the kitchen except they are told to do so. Giving the females in charge if the kitchen therefore the males cannot take food in the kitchen except they are given the permission to , which rarely happens. The same the happens in my home, it quite frustrating and annoying sometimes, that's why sometimes I feel I was of a feminine gender. So I can be free to take food from the put . Well I love food so much ,so that's why I see it as a problem. I am sure if I was given the opportunity to always take food from the pot the food stuffs would finish faster than they do.
I envy the feminine gender in respect of them being in charge of the kitchen. I wish I was a girl in that sense but thank God I am a good cook. I also love making good meals for myself. I cook sometimes for my family. I could cook any type of food at all so that consoles me for the fact I can'go to the pot to take food. I hope you all enjoyed reading.

And the dilemma of the guys not being allowed to enter the kitchen is very common in this country. I think it's actually unfair to both the guys and the girls, because not only do you guys not learn a very important life skill; cooking, but the burden of feeding you now has to be placed on the females without warning or permission.
Oh well, you can always move of the house and learn to cook on your own. That's by the way.

Although I would suggest that next time, before you post, try using a grammar corrector like quillbot or grammarly to help with your grammar and spellings.
My pieces used to be filled with errors too but since I started using quillbot, I realised it was fast and easy to publish your work free of blunders.

@zitalove thanks alot for your suggestions in trying to make my write ups free from grammatical errors... truth be told..I am usually lazy to re-read what I have written😅, I only through it a few times when I have enough time to d so. But I will take your advice and try out quillbot.com but I am scared of trying it out because it is still AI.
Well ,thank God I am a good chef I can survive any where, the plantain and groundnut you saw was made by I and my sister though we were trying out a Ghanaian delicacy and of course it wasn't bad at all. I could send you the recipe so you could try it out😏 , do you care ?

I used to have this problem too. And even if I read it up to five times, I'd realize after publishing that I missed some mistakes. That's why I recommend using quilbot or grammarly. It takes away the hassle of proof reading and does a perfect job in upgrading the quality of your post.
You don't need to worry about AI as the softwares aren't really paraphrasing a lot. If you download the quillbot extension, it doesn't paraphrase your work, it just corrects the grammar.
