HIVE MADE ME INDEPENDENT

Hello hivians, hope you all are doing very fine today and that you slept very well.

Today I was just recalling those times I was always depending on people for a lot of things, trust me it always annoying to see myself asking nearly everyone for something.

In 2017, after I wrote my senior secondary school examination I was feeling tire of asking my parents for stuffs.
My daddy would tell me "it's okay to ask anything dear" but it did not just sit well with me to do that often.

I used to write poems in school for occasions, not knowing I would someday earn from writing.

So I press for what I wanted, I always have a dream of becoming great since I was young.

So the next year, I wrote Utme so as to start my tertiary institution.
I was always left with no choice, than to ask my parents for transport fair, and money for other things.

It got SK tiring, as Dad would not want me to do anything at all.
So the next year, which was 2019 I said to myself that I can't depend on anyone again.

I had a friend, who was always baking sausage rolls, so I talked to her about learning from her.
She agreed and I started learning how to do it.
So I started baking and selling sausage rolls, in school.
I really made gains from it.
So the next year, which was 2020 it was not really going the way it would have suppose to, because of the lockdown.

So I felt so bad about it, because the lockdown cost me so many things.
So after the lockdown in June, I met my cousin, and I told him that I needed a job, so he asked me can you write? and I told him that I only write poems and stories.
He said great, then he introduced hive to me.

I was not really a long write because I only write poems, the first thing he told me do was to write an introductory post, you should see how I struggled with it.

Nevertheless, he did not give up on trying to teach me.
In learning from him, I had the capacity of writing a lot of things, in my long note.
I remember those times I would sit for hours on the table just to construct a good writeup.

After my introductory post, I was always afraid of writing on hive, because I felt people that are here are more intelligent, so they would realm criticized my contents.
So I decided to read more articles, and contents from other Vivian's.

I wrote in hive, but it was not daily and that made think I was not going to earn from it.
I like seeing to believe, so one day, my friend in church said that she wanted to redraw her HBD, and I was so surprise about. That made me work even harder, so as to ask redraw mine too.

So worked harder, and I started redrawing from hive. Being the happiest person that day, I almost used my first reward to seat out, a thought came to me, that I should invest in something I would fall back on, because I will not be redrawing every time fro hive.

So I used my first reward, to start up my oil perfume business. Trust me I am so independent now.
I can now buy what I need, and also buy what I want, not waiting for my parents or waiting for anyone.
