Ladies of hive contest #204

Good day, beautiful and elegant ladies of Hive! You are all welcome to another awesome week at my favorite Ladies of Hive community 💋. It's so good to meet you all here again for this week's edition. This week's topics are very interesting, but I am going to go with the second topic.

2️⃣ A husband told his wife that he wishes her to say "okay" and "yes" to whatever he says to avoid further discussions or arguments. What would you do if you were in her shoes? Would you agree and nod to everything even when it is against your will or feelings? Please share your thoughts.

A 'Yes' woman can be said to be a woman who seems to always agree with her husband whether he is wrong or not, in order to gain favor or avoid further arguments in the future for peace to reign in the relationship, chipping away at her own self-esteem, which just leads to more 'Yes woman' behavior. It is really biased when a man overestimates his own qualities and abilities compared to those of his wife.*

Most men think that they are superior to women and that women are only meant to be in the kitchen cooking and taking care of the children, while the men go ahead in life to pursue their goals. So they overreact to situations that dig deep into their insecurities. Dismissing, bullying, or putting down a woman because they feel like men are stronger. I can't even imagine myself being in a relationship with a man I claim to love, where my opinions do not matter or me trying hard to please someone else.

This topic made me reminisce about what my colleague once told me.. that she prefers to marry her friend.
why? because friendship is built on trust, honesty, mutual respect and support for each other. friends often share common interests and experiences, and enjoy spending time together. It is in friendship that you will know the character of your spouse, even if they hide it. somehow you'll know if you will be able to tolerate his attitude or not, and if you can't tolerate his attitude... my sister run for your life, do not think twice! I repeat do not think twice because marriage is for a lifetime.

You know I sometimes think a man's bad behavior is probably due to seeing their fathers treating their mothers badly, but for me instead of being with someone who doesn't value and respect me... A man who wants me to be like a toy, just because he married me. I rather be single and independent for the rest of my life, and accomplish my goals and fulfill my needs. I will have my freedom to choose the state of my relationship.
