Coffee, disconnection and solitary harmony
The world is noisy and disproportionate; the vast majority of the time, it tends to stress you out and fill you with problems. There are small places, however, where I can feel at ease as long as there is coffee: I try to sigh every time I take a sip as I recall memories, and long for new extraordinary moments. It just needs to be me and my cup, maybe someone to take my order, and something to read. Sometimes, I just need to read Alfonsina Storni's poems on my cell phone. Nothing else is missing... nothing else.
Coffee and mutual thoughts, stirred with some sugar. I don't usually accompany my coffee with snacks, at least not most of the time. I love visiting coffee shops to get away from my frequent haunts for a bit, although I do go a bit more for homemade coffee. Of course, for this occasion I wanted to relax a bit after doing my morning activities, which include physical exercise and some work chores.
A coffee can make all the difference in a busy day.
When I go alone to a coffee shop, I usually take advantage of the time to visit social networks or listen to poems, most of them narrated from youtube. I use headphones, of course, as sometimes I love to put on some music to relax my ears. I could say then that I disconnect; this time it was a little different, as I did it in reverse to what is usually my routine. I liked, however, to see that a little coffee alone helps to relax and activate the body, even more after a long session at the gym that ends right at noon.

A perfect afternoon of coffee and solitude must have, at least, a nice place to increase the disconnection from the world. Not all places or coffee shops tend to have a relaxing atmosphere, as some have noisier spaces. At least I prefer to visit very quiet places, if they have music, make it very low... if there are no other customers than me, then it would be much better, but come on, I can't be the only one looking to relax with coffee.
When I am at home, I prefer to drink coffee in my garden, because it is a very special place, full of flowers and butterflies. There I prefer my coffee not to have so much sugar: I like it bitter so that I can taste it more. In coffee shops I always ask for it with milk or I choose a sweeter combination. Chocolate is among my favorite flavors to combine with coffee.

The wonderful thing about drinking coffee is that you can find many ways to combine it with relaxing activities. As I wrote before, I don't like to combine it with sweets, at least not in an exaggerated way. Of course, you can never miss my headphones or a good poem, especially when I'm looking for creative inspiration, which almost always comes with coffee. Besides, I feel harmony: let's say it's that sensation of feeling complete and at ease, which most of the time, overflows the spirit of life within you.
I felt this and could oicture the moment as i read through.
Coffee is best suited for quuet moments. At least, that's what i think. Personally, it's a refreshing drink that i enjoy with nature.
It's great that you can enjoy coffee next to nature. Undoubtedly, a moment of solitude and coffee is wonderful.
Wow, nature makes one feel inspired, little under you enjoy taking coffee in solitude.
Yes, drinking coffee alone is magical. 😊
I like that!
Having a garden with butterflies sounds awesome:)
Thank you very much.
I think we all need to disconnect at some point. I don't really go out much, and every time I go to a coffee shop it's to meet someone or to spend some time with my wife. Maybe if I were your age I would also spend some time alone in a coffee shop. Happy day dear friend @soldierofdreams . A big hug from Maracay.
Disconnecting is wonderful when it comes to reconnecting ideas. Thanks so much for commenting. Greetings from eastern Venezuela.
Everyone finds their own space and form of connection. Everything is a world; of course, peace causes calm. I like different places, at home I usually drink coffee to concentrate.
That's right, everyone has their own way of deciding and finding new ideas. It's good that you have those great ways to do it.
