This morning the weather dawned a little cloudy, my stomach a little upset, and I couldn't go out to train at 6:00 am as I usually do, so in order not to lose my physical activity for the day, I went for a walk a few hours later, at 9:00 am.

Esta mañana el tiempo amaneció algo nublado, mi estómago algo revuelto, y no pude salir a entrenar a las 6:00 am como suelo hacer, así que para no perder mi actividad física del día, me fui a caminar por ahí unas horas después, a las 9:00 am.

By this time the sky had cleared and the sun was shining, perfect for getting some vitamin D 😊. I wasn't looking at anything in particular, but as I passed by, flowers appeared here and there, so I decided to photograph them to share them in this #WednesdayWalk.

A esa hora el cielo se había despejado y había sol, perfecto para recibir un poco de vitamina D 😊. No iba mirando nada en particular, pero a mi paso fueron apareciendo flores por aquí y por allá, entonces me animé a fotografiarlas para compartirlas en este #MiercolesDePaseo.

As we are in the rainy season in Venezuela, the vegetation is lush everywhere, and in any street with some dirt you can see some flowers. Of course, many have been planted on the sidewalks by people, and are cared for, but there are many others that grow wild out there.

Como estamos en período de lluvias en Venezuela, la vegetación está frondosa por todos lados, y en cualquier calle con algo de tierra se puede ver alguna flor. Claro, muchas han sido sembradas en las aceras por la gente, y son cuidadas, pero hay otras tantas que crecen silvestres por ahí.

It always surprises me how plants grow in places where no one expects them, in any little hole where there is soil they slip in and they don't care about the cement, how nice, because their boldness beautifies the environment.

Siempre me sorprende cómo crecen plantas en lugares donde nadie las espera, por cualquier huequito donde haya tierra se cuelan y no les importa el cemento, qué bueno, porque su atrevimiento embellece el entorno.

And in public spaces built to house them, despite the lack of maintenance or neglect, the flowers peek out without complaint.

Y en espacios públicos construidos para albergarlas, a pesar de la falta de mantenimiento o el abandono, las flores se asoman sin reclamar.

On my route I passed a park, and decided to go inside for a few minutes to see what I could get.

En mi ruta pasé por un parque y decidí entrar unos minutos para ver qué conseguía.

I didn't find many, paradoxically there were more flowers along the streets than inside the park. The environment was super fresh because of the number of trees and I liked the moss that has formed on the floor.

No encontré muchas, paradójicamente había más flores por las calles que dentro del parque. El ambiente estaba súper fresco por la cantidad de árboles y me gustó el musgo que se ha formado en el piso.

Next to this park there used to be a nursery, the space has been filled with weeds since it stopped working several years ago when its owner died. I walked by and peeked through the gate to look around, and what did I see? A cute goat eating, good thing someone is taking advantage of the place!

Al lado de este parque había un vivero, el espacio se ha llenado de maleza desde que hace varios años dejó de funcionar cuando su dueño murió. Pasé por allí y me asomé por la reja a curiosear, ¿y qué vi? Una linda cabra comiendo, ¡qué bueno que alguien aprovecha el lugar!

I continued my walk and the flowers kept appearing, this time they had fallen from the tree, I thought it was such a poetic image.

Continué mi caminata y las flores seguían apareciendo, esta vez habían caído del árbol, me pareció una imagen tan poética.

As I walked along, I thought: if the city is filled with flowers at this time of the year with no care, what would it be like if there was a body in charge of maintaining the landscaping in the municipality? Surely everything would look much better.

Mientras avanzaba, pensaba: si con ningún cuidado la ciudad se llena de flores en esta época del año, ¿cómo sería si hubiera un organismo encargado de mantener el paisajismo en el municipio? Sin duda todo se vería mucho mejor.

I had been walking for about two hours already, I think I did more than 5 km, so I accomplished my exercise day in spite of everything 😃. Shortly before my walk ended, I passed by a house that I've always liked because its entrance looks like a mysterious forest, trees and flowers overflowing at the door.

Ya llevaba unas dos horas caminando, creo que hice más de 5 Km, así que cumplí con mi día de ejercicio a pesar de todo 😃. Poco antes de que mi paseo terminara, pasé por una casa que siempre me ha gustado porque su entrada parece un misterioso bosque, los árboles y las flores se desbordan en la puerta.

And close to my house I saw a flower sale, the truth is I don't really like cut flowers, I prefer to see them in nature, but the sunflowers forced me to photograph them 😂.

Y ya cerca de mi casa vi una venta de flores, la verdad no me gustan mucho las cortadas, prefiero verlas en la naturaleza, pero los girasoles me obligaron a fotografiarlos 😂.
