#Splinterland battle - My strategy with Martyr ability
Hello all Splinterland tribes,
After the 1st season with new Soulbound reward cards, I had the luck to receive some cards with a new ability - Martyr and I would like to share some battles with it
When a character with the Martyr ability dies in a battle, it gives adjacent characters +1 to all stats. This ability will put increased importance on positioning of characters on the battlefield, as its full effect will not be captured if it is in the first or last position when it dies, and it's also important that the intended characters are adjacent to it when it dies to receive the buff.
My strategy
To make the best use of this ability, I prefer to use Martyr monsters in the battle with below rule set

Target Practice - All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. | 2nd position | Ranged and Magic opponent's monsters will kill Martyr monster and my 1st and 3rd mosnters will get +1 to all stats | |
Super Sneak - All monsters have the Sneak ability. Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster. | Last position | The monster in front of Martyr monster will get +1 to all stats | |
Equal Opportunity - All monsters will attack from any position (range monsters cannot attack from position 1) and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health. | 2nd or 3rd position | My martyr monsters have low health and it will be killed 1st then 2 of my monster will get +1 to all stats | |
Explosive Weaponry - All monsters get the Blast Ability which does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster. Additional damage is equivalent to the main damage/2 rounded up. | 2nd position | I need to have strong tank in the 1st position. My martyr monster will be killed by the blast damaged then both 1st and 3rd monsters will be strengthened | |
Earthquake - Monsters without flight ability will be hit with 2 melee damage after every round ends. Snared monsters will take 2 melee damage from earthquake per turn too. | between 2 flying monsters | Martyr monsters get the damage then die and strengthen 2 monsters | |
Noxious Fumes - All monsters start the game poisoned and will take 2 damage each turn unless cleansed. Big HP and cleanse are going to be your best bet here. However there may be some cases where you ignore and go for a big offensive attack and wipe out your opponent before the poison becomes a factor. | Between 2 monsters | Martyr monsters get the damage from poison then die and strengthen 2 monsters |

Battle 3
This is a brawl battle with Equal Opportunity rule set. I put my Martyr monsters in 2nd and 4th position because they will be killed after round 1 and my main damage dealer - Padilon Rakk - were strengthened twice.

Awesome! I love your listing of Rule Sets here. A good strategy I found is placing Camouflage behind Martyr, like you did in Battle 1. Especially at Super Sneak.
