To live is better than to exist
Life is a gift for mankind to stamp their names on solid rock instead of sand.
While it is possible to to wonder why you were created, you can as well see it as a good gesture from the Creator.
While people created for many reasons not all these creations are created with good intentions.
What separate a good creator from a bad one is the functions and longevity of the created.
Many are alive for just the sake of it. They mind their own businesses and turn either deaf ears or blind eyes to the situations of things around them.
For a moment, they forget that we are all connected in one way or the other. Like a popular saying in Africa which says we are like water, we flow everywhere.
Similarly, it is like the general law of karma, if you do good, you or your family members will reap from it.
In today's world, many people deliberately ignore happenings in their immediate environment.
They forget that history remembers. It doesn't matter what you do, whether good or bad, history remembers.
Many people have received the title of martyrdom just because they made positive impact in the land of living.
Of a truth, we are made to complement one another. Nobody is self sufficient. By this, i mean no one can truly live alone without needing another person.
If you can plant, you definitely can't make your own cloth and if you can make your own cloth, you can't make your own shoes.
It follows that we need each other to live a life devoid of unnecessary stress.
While you are alive, touch lives, touch souls, impact on people's lives positively.
This is what makes you a living soul. Those who are alive but are less concern about others, their sorrows, the happenings around them only exist. Such people are easily forgotten.
What you do while you are alive is what people remembers. This is what makes you to live forever in the lives of the people you impacted and amazingly, they share these stories with their children.
In some cases, things are done in your memories. Schools, orphanages, recreation centres and the rest are erected in your name.
Everybody sees it and the curious ones like myself will ask questions. The answer will give us a new perspective on how to live life and impact on others. This can birth another version of you in the life of this person who will in turn continue your legacy.
While many exist and make no impact, few lived and have their names stamped on the rock.
Live brother and sisters. Don't exist!!!!
