Photowalk at "Sadarghat", the most interesting place in Dhaka
Hello,
Community Members, how are you all!!! I hope you are well, I am also well Alhamdulillah. Glad to have your support on the last post. A little love and support is all a photographer wants. I try to click good photos. If you can share that picture in a community and show it to the audience, you can get peace of mind. At the end of the day, this is the achievement. Today I will post about my solo photowalk. I went to Sadarghat, this place is the best place for photography. If a beginner photographer is allowed to take photography here, he can easily click some good photos. I have been many times. There are several posts about this place. I did another one today. Let's see the photographs taken at Last Sadarghat.
This is Called Komola Rocket, Komola Rocket is a popular ferry boat that operates from Sadarghat Terminal in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The ferry is named after the local citrus fruit, Komola, and is a popular mode of transportation for both locals and tourists alike. The ferry's distinctive bright orange color makes it easy to spot amidst the numerous other boats at the terminal. Komola Rocket has been in operation for many decades and has become an iconic symbol of the bustling river transport system in Bangladesh.
As the warmth of spring started to creep into Dhaka, I decided to take a solo photo walk at Sadarghat, one of the busiest and most vibrant places in the city. Sadarghat is the largest river port in Bangladesh and an iconic location that never fails to mesmerize anyone who visits. So, I grabbed my camera, put on my walking shoes, and set off to explore the bustling streets and the riverbank, hoping to capture the essence of the place.
As I arrived at Sadarghat, I was greeted by the hustle and bustle of the port. The sound of the boats and the calls of the vendors blended together, creating a unique symphony. The aroma of the street food, mixed with the scent of the river, filled the air. I took a deep breath and started walking towards the riverbank, eager to see what I could capture through my lens.
The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over the river and the boats that were anchored by the shore. The colors were vivid and vibrant, reflecting the liveliness of the port. I took my first shot of the day - a panoramic view of the river and the boats. The blue water sparkled in the sunlight, while the colorful boats added a playful touch to the scenery.
As I walked along the riverbank, I noticed the various activities taking place around me. There were fishermen untangling their nets, vendors selling their wares, and travelers getting on and off the boats. I decided to focus on capturing the people and their everyday lives at the port.
The children playing in the water, the men loading and unloading goods from the boats, and the women selling fruits and vegetables - each of them had a story to tell. One of the most striking moments of my walk was when I stumbled upon a group of children playing on the riverbank. Their laughter echoed through the air, and their innocent faces glowed in the sunlight. I snapped a quick photo of them, and they immediately gathered around me, eager to see the result.
Their curiosity and joy made my day, and I was glad I could capture that moment. As the day progressed, the heat became more intense, and the crowd grew thicker. I decided to end my walk and head back home, feeling fulfilled with my experience. The photos I took that day captured the essence of Sadarghat - a bustling, vibrant, and colorful place that never fails to amaze me.
In summery.. my solo photo walk at Sadarghat, Dhaka, on a sunny spring day was an unforgettable experience. It allowed me to explore the beauty of the port and capture its essence through my lens. I would recommend everyone to take a walk at Sadarghat, and experience the liveliness of the place for themselves.
However, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and take necessary precautions while on a solo photo walk. Sadarghat can be a busy and chaotic place, so it is advisable to keep your belongings close to you and avoid drawing too much attention to yourself. It is also recommended to dress modestly and respectfully, as Sadarghat is a religious and cultural hub.
a solo photo walk at Sadarghat can be a rewarding and enriching experience, allowing you to capture the beauty and chaos of the river port from your own unique perspective.
Taking these pictures is a new experience for me. I will try more. I hope I can click great pictures. I will share them all on Hive. Any photographer enjoys being able to present his photographs to an audience. Hive is a huge community. There are many photographers, and great audiences, all content creators, and all audiences. Moreover, there is support from the photography lover community. It is for this support that I take so much time to post. Gratitude will always be there. Not today. Another day you will find me in a new story. Until then, good bye.
