Friends, today I am going to talk about a special festival in almora which is called Dussehra is celebrated all over India for this reason because on this day the Hindu deity Shri Ram had killed the Devil named Ravana, it is said that the war between Rama and Ravana lasted for ten days and lasted for ten days. The day Rama conquered unrighteousness by killing Ravana.
The reason for the war between Ravana and Ram was that Ravana kidnapped Sita Mata, wife of Shri Ram, and Shri Ram is called Maryada Parushottama, because of which he killed Ravana and liberated the earth from the sins of Ravana. Because Ravana was the most powerful and knowledgeable, no one had acquired knowledge equal to him in the earth, but his pride was the reason for his end.
That's why Dussehra is celebrated everywhere in India and in all the countries where Hindus reside, Dushera is celebrated by Hindus, but today, where I went to see Dushera, the best Dushera is organized in the world, its being world famous. There is also another reason because effigies of Ravana and some of his special people are made all over the world, but in Almora city, effigies of almost all the family members of Ravana are made, they are the most beautiful in the whole world. you all can see in the picture
Ahiravan was the younger brother of Ravana and the king of Hades. he took Rama and his brother Lakhan to Hades to kill but Hanuman (Ram Sevak) saved them.
Marich was a big reason for Rama and Ravana's war because when Ravana came to abduct Sita, Marich took Rama behind him by showing the form of a deer and that is why Ravana took Sita away.
Meghnath was the most powerful demon in the Ravana family who had also conquered Inderdev (King of Heaven), hence its other name was Indrajit who was killed in the battle by Rama's younger brother Lakshmana.
This was also a demon of the Ravana family.
If you come to visit India, then this festival will be seen all over India considering you on the day of Vijayadashami, which is celebrated with great pomp, but if you want to see the world famous Dashera of Almora, then for that you have to do in the month of October or November. have to come to india.
