Last year, I met with a guy who told me the real money is not made online but offline. I was lost. Like I was thinking what's this guy saying because, this person makes most of his money online. Until months later when I made my first money online and noticed the flow of online money.
Like I was seriously spending the whole money I made online offline. He said, look at the list of rich people.
How many of them are copywriters? Or how many of them are online marketers? They might have people doing the work for them but themselves are literally never into copywriting. But it's impossible for you to be richer than your boss.
Maybe NO or maybe YES.
How to generate a business idea is a very crucial part of starting a business. This is so because no matter how cheap or essential what you sell is, if you're marketing it to a wrong person, you can't sell. Take for example, you want to sell an icloud storage to someone using Samsung. It cannot fly. Why? You're selling a very good offer to a wrong person. So in business ideas, it is very important to sell what will bring about solution to people. No matter how expensive the stuff is if it's really needed, the person will buy. Because it is a right audience.
Now to generating business ideas, you need to sell what people want to buy. At times, you need food but you end up buying snacks probably because you can't find any good food around. Fortunately for you, you came across a snacks seller.
Why buying that snacks? Because you can't find a good food at the moment. That is the concept.
Before you sell anything, you have to consider 2 things

When deciding a business idea, it is very important to consider being the first at it most times. Why? This will help you to be at the higher edge because there will be more recognition for you. As the first person to start the business, this will enable you to have the first set of audience.Looking around to a problem and bringing about solution to them. That is why this option work.
Be the best
This can mostly be used when you think you're ON with a business that a lot of people are doing and you're doubting if you can shine or not. I put it to you that you can start a business and yet shine than those in it before you.
Now if you're entering an oversaturated market, you really have to be the best. You have to keep doing what other are not doing OR doing what they are doing in a more unique and uncommon way.
People will prefer you to any other person in the business.
Those are the things you need to consider before starting a business. Not you waking up a day, envying your friend because she is doing well in a business. I mean no insult.
Your friend might be selling what is useful in her environment and which is otherwise in your own area. No matter how that product sells in your friend's area, it might not fly in your own area because you're in a wrong location for the business.
So in picking a business idea, you have many things to consider. You can't start up a business without having a target audience. What is target audience? These are ready made people having problem and you're starting up with a solution to their problem.
Between virus and antivirus, which one was created first?
I belief your answer is VIRUS. When virus was initiated into devices to punish anyone with an unsupported stuffs. When they know the virus is really affecting, they sprung into action to bring about antivirus which help to nullify the effect of the virus.
Most time, you will be blank in having anything you want to start doing but you can always create a problem in your own best knowledge with a sound already made solution. Let's take for example, most people cannot afford a valid subscription for Netflix. But here we have WhatsApp sellers with hacked Netflix login. Are they not making sales? Of course they do. Though I'm not a supporter of illegal business. They are providing solution to people problems with a cheaper money.
When deciding a business idea, you really have to start up something that people really need. You can discover that by test running that product in your immediate environment first. And that will tell you if you're on a needed business or otherwise.
