Bug Hunting!
I have used the "Project Blank" interface for 4 days now and I must say, "Threads" are a lot of fun. For real! I'm not just sucking up for those juicy Leo.voter votes LOL! I had said in my first "review" post about the interface that threads is going to make engagement easier on the chain. And I was not wrong. Continuing conversation has been seamless on threads!
But that's not all I've been doing on the new interface now, have I! Regardless of how much I am loving these short form to and fros, I will always be a long form blog post writer and I will do that daily (or at least I intend to!). Hence, I of course tried out the option to publish long form posts directly from the alpha.leofinance.io frontend. And that is where I found the first bug!
Whenever I am writing a blog post, I will ALWAYS want to have a look at the preview of how my post is going to look once I publish it - whether the headings look too big or too small, whether the italics and bolded out words catch the readers' eyes, whether the images I am using look good on the post etc etc.
So if there is a bug in the preview, it was always unlikely to miss my eyes. And it didn't.
Let's say I added and image to the publishing page.
All good so far? Yes. But the problem is I am sort of a formatting freak. Remember I want my posts to look good right? So I am not just going to upload an image and leave it there. I will either center it (mostly) or pull it to the right or left as I see fit for the post. Let's see what happens when I try to center my image.
And Ta da! My image has disappeared from the preview!
Now let's see what happens if we try to pull the image to one side of the post.
Nope, no sign of my image. What's more is, look at the yellow underlined lines. Normally after applying the pull-right markdown code, whatever we write next to it should appear at the left hand side of the image which should now have been pulled to the right hand side of the page.
But here neither the image, nor the text showed up in the preview section.
I am sure they will be shown after the post is published, but when were playing with these complex formatting it's always nice to have a preview to see that everything fits right.
This interface is still in the alpha phase so these kinds of minor bugs or glitches are expected and quite acceptable really. Hoping it gets fixed as development continues.

As I am a software tester, I should do a bug hunt as well. These days I focused on content creation but doing some exploratory testing should be fun.

Ah, that is right down your alley then! I am the reverse of you - content creator focused on finding bugs haha!
