Finished this too!! this one is for me!!
Hello friends, here I am again with you.
This time, I want to show you through my photographs my personal interpretation of the famous artwork "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by the renowned Japanese painter Hokusai, first published around 1830.
This little gift that took me several months to create, dedicating myself patiently to this project, brings me immense joy, as I have a deep passion for Japanese art. By the way, I should even take part in a wonderful exhibition focused on Japan, currently taking place in Turin. Unfortunately, though, I haven't had the opportunity to visit it yet due to various commitments that keep me occupied.
I believe that many art and culture enthusiasts are well acquainted with this celebrated Japanese painter and printmaker, particularly famous for his series of prints titled "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji." Through my reproduction of his beautiful artwork depicting the majestic Great Wave with Mount Fuji in the background, I hope to have portrayed one of the most recognizable symbols of Japanese art worldwide.
Moreover, consider how humble this artist was. When he reached the age of 70, he declared that he had not yet achieved artistic perfection, emphasizing the importance of continuing to strive in artistic practice. I think this statement holds true because in art, we constantly strive to improve and grow.
I hope to visit this exhibition in Turin as there are numerous prints by this exceptional artist on display.
Thank you for reading this post, and I hope you enjoyed it. Please let me know in the comments below. I am always grateful for the support and warmth you convey to me every day.
