Hello dear friends!

Today should be my last day of illness, and tomorrow I should be back at work, so I decided to write this post since I had some time, about a place that somewhat ties into what I shared here yesterday. In fact, today I’d like to introduce you to another location, still in the province of Lucca but in the heart of Versilia, a fairly famous and renowned seaside area throughout Italy.

Today, I’ll share with you the photos I took at Marina di Pietrasanta, a district of the town of Pietrasanta. It’s a place I’ve been to several times for work, but also for vacations.
Let’s say it’s a seaside resort, but as you can already see from the first photos I shared, they’ve chosen to combine art, even contemporary art, with the seaside setting. Typically, this place is known for its long sandy beaches and numerous beach clubs, but in my opinion, these works of art only enrich and beautify the place even more.

I took these photos during a work break, and not knowing what else to do, I took a short walk between the town and the beach. By chance, I discovered a church located right in this area. It doesn’t seem to be very well known, but I was very lucky because it was open, so I was able to explore it inside.
I love the idea of finding these small works of art by chance; they really excite me.
As you can see from some photos, this area is mainly made up of accommodations for tourism, as it's a seaside location, and most of the life happens in the evening, or even at night.

This renowned tourist destination on the Tuscan coast had its golden age in the 1960s, because here there was a famous venue where internationally renowned guests used to perform. That’s why, even today, it is still quite famous for its nightlife centered around entertainment, although naturally over the years other locations around the world have taken Versilia’s place.

I hope you liked the photos. Surely, some of you have already vacationed in this part of Tuscany. Anyway, I hope you can also appreciate the more artistic side and not just the vacation aspect of these locations.

I’m sending you a big hug, and I’ll see you in my next post!
