Hello dear friends,

Fortunately, in these past few days, I’ve started feeling better. The fever is gone, my strength has returned, and that’s the most important thing. However, I haven’t yet returned to work because I need to be fully at 100% there.

So during these days, when the weather hasn’t been the best, I decided to pick up my hobby again. I decided to get my hands dirty (and not just my hands!), because unfortunately, when I work with colors, I’m quite a disaster and I end up making a mess everywhere. I chose to create a small painting of a scene that stuck with me from when I visited my sister.

Probably many of you don’t know that I have a sister who lives in the mountains, and sometimes I visit her, not only to help with the baby, but also to go on hikes in nature. By the way, I’d love to go back in these days because they say the deer are bellowing since this is the season when they shed their antlers.

During one walk in the woods, I came across this scene that got imprinted in my mind, and in recent days, it’s even reappeared in my dreams. So this morning, I decided to get to work and recreate this scene with colors.

I have to say, the beautiful thing — or at least for me, the inspiration — often comes when you find yourself completely immersed in nature. And if you remember some of the other things I’ve shared on my profile, I always enjoy recreating these places and moments that, in my opinion, are really beautiful.

I hope my sister will like it since it will probably be a gift for her. Anyway, friends, I’ll see you in my next post, which will most likely feature another beautiful spot in Tuscany that I’ve always forgotten to share and kept putting off. In the meantime, I wish you all a great day!
