After a hard day cutting firewood, Silvertop and the Mrs. started today’s mountain hike!😊
Keith and Lynn our neighbors at the end of our road are decorating their garden fencing with these beautiful geodes!

All day my friend, I had a few logs that were a challenge.....
If you look closely at the second to last photo you’ll see something under the log.
This is a Peavey, this tool has a metal jaw to grab logs, lift them, and roll them.
This is a extremely handy tool to have, most people in the northwest that work with wood, or cut wood, know this tool very well!
This particular Log needed to be lifted and this tool acted as a fulcrum holding the log it is jaws!
Then Silvertop got to hike, over 21,000 @actifit steps today, I am ready to call it a day!!!😅

Thanks @joetunex, lumber jacks use this to roll logs. When I was working as a carpenter building log homes in Colorado we used this tool to move heavy logs.
